This comes in courtesy of regular blog reader, Skane, who shares with us this hilarious AMV of Suzumiya Haruhi which garnered a whole number of awards in the recently held Otakon. Don’t you just love the power of the Internet?

God damn, I nearly bust a gut laughing at this AMV. Awesome synching and usage of real footage.

I wonder if this means Tama will appear more often soon. We got a good glimpse of her in the Byakko arc, but it wasn’t really enough. Mikako Takahashi is love.

Found a recording of the full version of Lion being sung live by May’n and Megumi on Youtube. The quality is kinda terrible, but you’ve gotta live with what you can get I guess.

The live version is actually quite interesting because Megumi uses a lower voice to sing, not her Ranka one. I guess it’s hard to keep up the Ranka voice and perform live.

I still can’t stop looping Lion myself, I think I’ve already rewatched the whole OP sequence at least 20 times since yesterday. I gotta love the lyrics, they give off a strong feeling of “I will survive” for me.

So far, looking so good, and the trailer looks pretty nice, with some awesome usage of cinematography and camera angles. While it’s a bit too much to hope for Makoto Shinkai-level artistic feel, if they continue on with the work they did on the first series, I think melodies won’t be disappointing at all.

P.S. I wonder what happened to Author? He’s the biggest ef fan I know, and he’s barely mentioning this.

Frequent blog reader (and emailer) Skane pointed me to this awesome MAD of the Lucky Star OP performed by the Suzumiya Haruhi cast. The twist is, it’s all done in 3D, so the results are pretty quite awesome, since most of the actions have been rendered properly. I really salute the group behind this who did the MAD. Must’ve been quite the job to render the scenes.

Wow, they banned my account all of a sudden, without any notice at all. Not that big of a bummer, since I didn’t really use the account that much apart from the occasional MAD, funny video and to keep track of subscriptions, but it does suck when they don’t tell you anything before-hand.

Well, actually I did receive a takedown notice on my Tomoyo 528-hit combo video a few days ago, but I sure didn’t expect them to ban me outright. Banzai for Tokyo Broadcasting System, Inc!?

Now I kinda know how Aroduc felt when it happened to him too, albeit only a fraction of the anger.

Anyways, this means most of the videos I’ve posted in my blog are gone now. Thankfully, most of them are on my HDD still.

I found this awesome MAD of Studio Kimigabuchi’s RE-TAKE a.k.a The Best Evangelion Doujin Ever®. I have to say, the work on this MAD is astoundingly awesome and I especially love the good combination of song in the second half… Asuka T_T.

For those who don’t know, the first song is “Inner Universe” by Origa, the Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex OP, and the second song is “innocent days” by hitomi from Code Geass.
