It’s the reason why I’ve not been posting anything the past few days, except for Saimoe and CLANNAD.
It’s actually way better than I expected, and I’m thankful that my worst fears of EA LA screwing up the game didn’t come true. Japan is still rather hard to get used to for all their transformation units. I suck at micro’ing in RTS’es. Their naval units are pretty awesome though.
Just finished through the campaign, and let’s just say the story is a bit subpar compared to RA2, but there are a bunch of crazy missions to balance it out. The Mount Rushmore one was pretty damn whacked as well as the reverse Pearl Harbour one too. At the least the sense of craziness is still there in the team, hahaha. In terms of storyline, the Soviet one was rather lame, since the twists were almost similar to the RA2 campaign. The Allied one was quite spiced up a bit nearing the end and the most original one is the Japanese campaign. Even the acting was better in it.
Trust me though, the FMV’s in RA3 have really subpar acting, generally though. In both the Soviet and Allied ones, I really didn’t feel any connection to the story at all, since the acting was rather wooden all the way. I think I mentioned somewhere that I hated the new Tanya, and yeah, I still hate her. Thankfully no Yuriko actress in the game though, LOLOLOLOL.
Finally, HELL MARCH ROCKS FUCK YEAH.
