Seriously, half of Inami-chan’s wages probably go towards repairing the walls she keeps punching open. And Souma-san should probably be more careful with her too. Lucky for him they haven’t invented a way to punch people over telephone lines, but Inami-chan gets reeeeeeeeeeeeeally close….

I have got to say, it’s been a loooooooong time since such a perfect embodiment of moé appeared for me. Takanashi is really on to something.

Speaking of him, next week’s episode preview says it’ll be focusing on his family of 3 4 sisters. That’ll be interesting to watch.

Haha, they really went and introduced the sisters this episode. Yeah, they’re definitely amazing in some sense. Especially Nazuna, the youngest. Is she really just 12 years old?! No wonder Takanashi has that fetish for small and cute things. Poor guy has been tortured “loved” too much by his elder sisters.

Man, the OP is such an earworm. Keeps looping in my head at random times now. And when it does, I get this image of a mini Poplar army marching about…

… makes me kinda want one. Maybe they might release a Nendoroid of this and someone will buy over 9000 of them and remake this scene in real life, haha.

So, why am I talking about the OP? I guess it’s because it’s probably the most notable part of the show. Episode 2 was okay, but episode 3 just felt aimless and rather boring since it felt like they didn’t have a focus for the jokes this time. It was kinda jumping between Yachiyo, Otou-san, Inami and Satou in a way that doesn’t cohesively mesh the jokes together. It wasn’t like episode 1 or 2 where they focused on Takanashi/Poplar and Inami respectively. Well, in deference to the original source I guess there are limitations to how much they can mesh the stories together, but I still felt they could’ve tried better this week.

Let’s hope it’ll be better for episode 4. Also I heard Takanashi has the most amazing older sisters on the planet. Or maybe that was some really crazy hyperbole I heard. Hurr….

P.S. Actually I just want them to put in more Poplar action. Isn’t she the reason the show existed in the first place?
