Girl meets girl

LOL, the previous student council president is the founder of the Mio’s fanclub. I fucking lol’ed.

Too bad she had to graduate after them, but not after pushing her job to Nodoka as her successor for both posts. Well, at least Nodoka isn’t going to stalk Mio… right?

Still being the serious person that she is, Nodoka decides to hold something as the fan club president, which results in the band holding a special tea party. Hilarity ensues as Mio tries not to collapse from all the attention.

“Congratulations Mrs and Mrs Akiyama! You may now cut the cake!”

Mio’s gonna pull a Marilyn Monroe ;_;

Pretty fun watching her deal with both her band members AND the fans together. I lol’ed at the Q&A corner when she answered “shower head”.

Generally, another decent episode of K-ON!! I noticed they seem to fare better if they do original story than trying to adapt from the manga. With last week’s rain episode and this week’s one, there’s no feeling of them trying to fill up time forcefully by making the characters do pointless gags.

A new insert song, Pure-Pure Heart, finally appears after 7 episodes. Thankfully, despite the sickeningly sweet name, it’s a rather decent song, if I may say so. Mio’s poetic skills are pretty bad though ^^

Next episode looks to be dealing with more serious issues than usual (deciding their future), and it looks like back to original source material again. Oh well….

First decent episode ever since the show resumed back airing. Yui’s retarded antics were actually funny for once. “Elizabeth”… heh.

Then again, I am quite a sucker for “we’re rained in” episodes….. so yeah.

Christmas episode! We take a break from music playing to present to you lovely sisterly love!

Oh dear god Mugi. Never have I felt she is an ojou-sama as much as seeing her wearing that outfit. I mean, with the fur hat and the long coat. She is like the epitome of those lady from olden times. And the fact that she actually bloody traded away a Hawaii vacation for board game just to play with the club members.

Uhhhh…. yeah, well. It is what it seems to be. Poor Mio :(.

Seriously Sawa-chan is the single most entertaining character of the group now. Don’t you just love her bipolarity?

And more lovely sisterly love.

Mio finally gives in to Sawa-chan’s attempts. She should just surrender her body to her already.

Awww… I wished that we could’ve seen Mio in kimono for a bit longer. She looks positively lovely in them.

… disappointed me. What was with that weird imagery of the girls doing some illegal live or some shit when they started singing? God damn KyoAni. Just show them singing in the hall!

Anyways, next week has loli Yui and Ui. God damn that was like the best part of the whole episode for me. Even Mio is getting a bit on my nerves now that KyoAni is overplaying her “shyness” factor to the absolute limit. It’s almost becoming irritating.

Oh man, she was pretty fucking epic in the manga already and KyoAni has to up the ante even higher. The whole “destroying evidence” and flashback to the past thing was extremely hilarious. As if the teeth guitar wasn’t enough, ahahahaha.

Plus, she makes a fine bokke pair with Yui too, ROFL.

Mugi’s yuri delusions are being put out full front so early already. It is kinda scary to see her in that ‘mode’ though.
