Hayate no Gotoku! 257
As expected from Maria. Even revived mythological monsters don’t faze her at all in the slightest.
On the other hand, we have a rare chapter where Yukiji actually acts like an elder sister for once! Even giving our dear Hinagiku some really pertinent advice at life!
I’m not going to post a fuckton of pages delve deeper in to her actions this chapter, but suffice to say it qualifies as a nice Moment of Heartwarming in the manga.
But for all intents and purposes, please go back to Hayate vs Athena. We stopped at quite a cliffhanger last chapter.

Anyways, pretty serious chapter this time, as outlined below, after the last 5-6 battle-filled ones.
Hayate’s Packy Adventures
Obligatory Meido-fuku Hayate appearance.
Season 2 was shorter than I thought. Didn’t they say it was gonna be another 4-cour show? Looks like it got toned down a bit huh.
Anyways, the first half of this episode is the Hina in Wonderland (LOL at the CB and Geass references) chapter, while the second half is Hayate’s adventures in buying Packy, an anime original. Pretty much Nagi sends Hayate out on an errand, and we get a “Hajimete no Otsukai”-style coverage of how unlucky Hayate really is when he’s thrown outside of the mansion. The ending was pretty touching (BAWWW’ed a bit) though, and I’ll say, the writers for this season are quite good.
