Damn, I missed the shitstorm.
So, someone leaked the last 6 minutes of Geass R2 03 on the net. Quite a lot of details got leaked in the 6 mins, mainly:
More interesting, however, is a post on 2ch claiming that a staff member has been arrested in connection to the leak, and episode 3’s broadcast may be delayed till next week and it might be totally redone. Given the nature of the source however, I’m inclined to advise everyone to take it with a pinch of salt. I just don’t see how having those 6 minutes leaked is going to result in them redoing a whole episode, especially since it’s still early in the series.
UPDATE: From Anime News Network:
The official Japanese website for the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 anime series has announced that human error caused Tuesday’s online leak of the fourth and final part of episode 3, which will not officially air until this Sunday in Japan. The leak of the last five minutes and 51 seconds occurred around 5:00 p.m. JST on various Internet video-sharing websites. According to the Code Geass Production Committee’s investigation, Bandai Channel (the network service responsible for posting the entire program onto the Internet) was testing a system that prevents unauthorized video posts when it accidentally uploaded the episode’s ending onto the Internet early.
The production committee apologized to those who have been waiting to enjoy the official broadcast and promised to take steps to avoid having this happen a second time. The third episode will air on Sunday, April 20 at 5:00 p.m. JST as scheduled.
Thank you to dormcat for the news tip.
Well, see. Using 2ch as a news source is like using Wikipedia as your only reference for your graduation thesis, well, unless your graduation thesis is on Wikipedia or something.

F*ck. F*ck. F*ck. F*ck.
Sunrise pulls another cliffhanger ending again. WRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m seriously ashamed to admit it, but Sunrise has totally made a fanboy out of me with the gripping, leaves-you-at-the-edge-of-your-seat drama of Code Geass. Now I can’t bloody wait for Fall to arrive with Geass Season 2, hopefully with more C.C. (and her hawt ass) and more epic drama.
Fanboy rantings aside, this episode had a pretty serious kill count. Both sides have taken a lot of losses, and that’s probably why I like Geass so much, as it gives a grim reality of the messy battle. Probably one of the most unexpected parts of the episode was Villetta shooting Ogi point blank, even if she realizes that it has been him who saved her life up till now. Then, there was also the standoff between the Black Knights and Llyod’s team getting interrupted by Nina, threatening to detonate the nuclear device she has been building all along.
And seriously, Lulu is now truly like Light. As smart and cunning he may be, he seriously went too over-confident with his abilities to actually overlook contingency plans and leave Nunnally defenseless, leading her to get kidnapped and forced to run away from the battle, midway, to save her. That will probably not be forgotten by the Black Knights as he’s literally deserting them in the middle of the war. Not to mention, he’s revealed that he was using the Japanese as a pawn for his own plans all along to Karen. Wonder how he’ll spin the story in the next season.
From Anime News Service:
5-9-07 (9:18AM EDT)—- Code Geass Sequel World Premiere
STAGE24&25 will debut the Code Geass sequel animation in Japan in a series of 90 minute events On July 21st in Osaka and July 22nd in Tokyo. Several of the key staff and cast of the original will appear.
Finally! Damn it, Sunrise. There seriously wasn’t a need for the fucking wait.
Which kinda reminds me I forgot to blog the last 2-3 episodes of Geass because of the “Code Geass 24-25 in Summer 07″ announcement at the end of Stage 23.

Mmm, awesome image song by C.C. a.k.a Yukana. The song theme fits her character nicely.
The audio dramas along with the CD aren’t bad as well. The first one is Stage 9.725. C.C and Lulu are in their room, discussing about the impending attack tomorrow where he can finally take revenge against Cornelia when he’s interrupted by Suzaku and quickly tries to hide C.C under his bed. Suzaku just barges in however and Lulu starts to lecture him about not respecting people’s privacy, which Suzuka takes as a sign of Lulu having a girlfriend, since he’s “at that age” and all. Of course, Lulu tries to deny it by putting C.C. in a negative light, but it just makes Suzaku think it’s the case more.
The next one is Stage 12.55 and it’s about Shirley, who wants to invite Lulu to go to the concert but she’s getting butterflies in her stomach, making her start imagining a lot of weird things. First she imagines Lulu inviting Kallen with the tickets, then Nunally then her imaginations get wilder as she imagines Lulu marrying Nunally, Kallen and Suzaku…. basically Shirley’s imagination is something like Miu-chan on berserk mode. This one had me laughing my ass off as her dreams got wilder and wilder, XD.
Third one, not really worth mentioning… actually more like it was so boring I didn’t finish listening to it.

A fun filled episode this time, although ending with a more shocking twist. Ashford Academy organizes their School Festival and it attracts the attention of a lot of people for various reasons. I’m surprised that Lulu didn’t screw up during the day more than I thought he would be.
I’ve come to the realization that C.C. stands for Cool and Cute (of course, others disagree and say it’s actually Cheese and Cheese, but I digress). Her love for pizza really knows no bounds. I’m coming to think that it might even lead to her downfall XD… imagine this… the Brittanians luring her out with a huge pizza with extra Cheese-kun plushies all around. She’d be like the fly coming to the honey :D.
Also, it’s been a while since we’ve seen Viletta! Currently, my third favorite Geass Girl behind C.C. and Shirley, I’ve really missed her. God damned Ohgi that lucky bastard for getting to hook up with her. If he ever sells her off, he’s so going to be dead, real dead, badly mangled too, preferably.

Of course the episode ends with another twist, this time by Euphie, who has not only screwed up Zero’s plans in one bloody good shot, but has also sealed her fate this time round. Lulu is one pissed off mastermind now…. heh heh heh. Gotta say she’s really getting pompous lately.
P.S. No spoilers on 22 please. GG needs to sub a little bit faster :(.

Oh wow this episode probably made me lose a significant amount of brain cells due to the sheer cheese.
First, Lancelot gets upgraded to Alie Lancelot, fine. Then there was that “WTF” scene of Nina “Table-humper” Einstein (wow that so soils the name) finally meeting Euphie, her.. “goddess”. I’m surprised there was no surprise yuri sex.
Inspired by Nina, Euphie then goes to confess her love to Suzaku… when he’s in the middle of a fucking battle…
“Suzaku-kun..”
“Yes, Your Highness?”
“PLEASE LOVE ME!!”
“Er.. yeah… BTW if you haven’t noticed I’m ALONE in the middle of the fucking enemy base with almost NO energy left.”
“Yeah I know.”
“Don’t cry for me, kay.”
“NOOO!! SUZAAAAAAAKKUUUU-KUNNNNNNNN!!!”
… now that’s what I call “strategic timing”. Sunrise staff really need to listen to School Rumble’s “Onna no Ko♥Otoko no Ko”.
Thankfully, Suzaku gets his butt bailed out by Zero and C.C (oo she can pilot!!) in Gawain. BTW, if those energy packs are so small, why can’t they just bring more extras? Damn noob. Probably want to upgrade Lancelot and Gawain to nuke engines later. And so, my prediction comes true as Justice and Freedom Gawain and Lancelot pwn the ass off the enemy and medetashi, medetashi.
Sigh… so cheesy. Next episode will finally have more of Amnesia-ko and C.C. too. Oh god I can’t wait for it.

Yes! I can feel it! The proverbial train is starting to speed up! Yeah Sunrise, I can already feel the impending train wreck. So predictable, really so predictable. First floating battleships, now flying Knightmares. Next what? Suzaku and Lulu team up or something?
Sigh, I guess the problem would be that they seem to have lost track of the various plot threads that are making up Geass and continuously introducing new threads rather than resolving the current ones.
That aside, it’s still funny to see Lulu *trying* to act manly when he plainly fails at it, and I must not be the only one going “OMG INCEST” when Euphie strips. Kallen trying to kill Suzaku while still naked is kinda hawt, but sadly she’s become Zero Fangirl #1, which makes her boring.
