The World God Only Knows: Goddesses Arc

Chihiro…. ;_;

D’aaawwwwww…….. but unfortunately, the Capturing God is merciless.

The World God Only Knows: Goddesses Arc

Sigh… Keima.

The World God Only Knows: Goddesses Arc

No more capture, only tears.

Well, this was the most heartwrenching part of the entire Goddesses Arc. Keima actually scored with Chihiro for real, no silly Goddess hijinks behind it but unfortunately he… had to deal with it appropriately, as it’s not part of the sacred Capture™. I guess what makes this hard is because this is really “true” love for once, not just only Keima following his “plan” and it really did threw him out there.

In fact, he’s still suffering from the after-effects of having to cruelly break her heart… although I guess it’s not something the anime seems to show accordingly, thanks to Diana’s followup…

Cute… but eh, the timing here really feels a bit scumbag.

Sigh, Chihiro wasn’t really my favourite of the girls so far, but even so… the cruel way her heart got broken the first time she felt “love” was just… hard.

Well, one more Goddess to capture. Will Keima be able to stop Vintage’s best laid plans in time?

Still not gonna watch this – but at least in manga he’s thinking over his scumbag activities atm.

Just at a rather inappropriate end of the world time is all…

    *SPOILERS FOR THE MANGA ETC*
My only saving grace that kept me watching past that scene was the hope that Keima already thinks of Chihiro as a goddess and regretting his actions, decided not to pick Chihiro as a goddess host to begin with.

Looking forward to more KanaAsumi in Persona 3 anime after this ends at least.

Ah, wow, I made a mistake, it was the Persona 3 stage musical that she’s doing.
I didn’t expect a musical for Persona of all things, let alone with her as a main role.

That episode was very well done.

    Stone him

As bad as I can be, I’ll never be a scum bag towards a girl

I’ve always felt awkward with ‘be a dickwad to keep the muggle away, because muggles are dumb and should be kept in the dark or they’ll hurt themselves. Although I used to be a muggle myself’ situations. Oh, I understand the good intentions behind the characters’ logics, and I don’t ‘blame’ them, but the authors who keep pushing settings where those actions have to be seen as the sensible thing in the first place.

    Poor Chihiro T_T

Also, damn you Keima, first you break Chihiro’s hearth, then you get a booty call from Diana/Tenri!

To be fair, the manga went into Diana trying to seduce Keima right away as well, so they didn’t change anything.

I really hated this part of the arc, hate seeing it animated too just because it was so painful for Chihiro.

I guess I’m one of the few.
I dont really feel anything for Chihiro.
That said, seeing her crying face does have a good impact on me.

And for those who hate Keima for this, you are more suited for series where the MC is a typical good guy that treats girls kindly.

TWGOK is not like that, and I like it the way it is. Keima has to try to stay calm, even in undesirable situations. There are grander things to consider; sacrifices have to be made.
