That “Kami” in Kaminaga-senpai’s name stands for “God of Fujoshis”. Or something. Cuz she’s seriously too godliek fujoshi.
I mean, even normal fujoshis think she’s way too fujoshi for them.
Yeah… you kinda had that coming, Keima.
Hell yeah! Badass black Haqua is here to save the day!
Going out in a lover’s suicide with a blaze of glory…. R.I.P Hibiki and Miku.
So it turns out the true culprit behind Shimogamo Soichiro’s capture was his own blood-related younger brother. Damn. In hindsight it is so goddamn obvious since he’s the one who benefits/hates him the most, but like Yasaburo says, it’s been so bloody obvious that it’s actually pretty shocking to have it finally confirmed that he really did it.
I’ll have to say, Uchoten really knows how to build up the drama and tension. Even with the twist coming from a mile away, it still hit it with quite a bit of force. The music work of this episode was seriously amazing, especially the scene where the “witness” appears. Benten proves to be a really complicated character to have feelings for… especially after seeing the actions she took in this episode.
Already wishing it’s Sunday again, the cliffhanger of this week is really bad. And Kaisei, they better not do anything terrible to her!
dem feels mang….. dem feels…
As short as this episode took to resolve everything that was building up over the past three episodes, it’s undeniable that the feels here were seriously the strongest ever so far in the Monogatari anime productions. Really, that headpat was just…. too much. Especially after adult Mayoi, Shinobu and Araragi preparing themselves to die and the confrontation with Kiss-shot… only to be ended with not violence, but a very much needed pat on the head. Hit it right in the heart there.
Too bad Kabukimonogatari only got four episodes…. which really felt it didn’t do the arc any justice. I guess Hanekawa was more popular instead!
Wow, shit hit the fan so hard at the end of this episode the USGS registered it as a minor earthquake. Was already suspicious about the Symphogear official site listing 8 character song CD’s, but that didn’t quite match up with the amount of Symphogear users we have. Turns out…. goddamnit.
And that was just the final nail in the coffin that was slowly being hammered shut this week, mainly within the “Finé” group. Maria finally snaps and joins forces with Dr. Ver fully, while Natassja is incapacitated, against the best wishes of Kirika and Shirabe. Cue minor rebellion from Shirabe, as Kirika agonizes about the fact she’s probably the real Finé. Heh.
Hillariously enough, this week’s episode also had the random inclusion of Genjuurou and Hibiki dueting Jackie Chan’s Hero Story theme song…
Seriously, LOL WUT?! Heck, they even added it to the official site’s “Sound” section. And they are really going to release a full version of it on the Blu-ray extras too ヽ( >∀<)ﾉ AHAHA AHAHA AHAHAHAHA Man, that was kinda awesome I guess.
