Fantasista Doll 04

Fantasista Doll

Totally deserved.

But sadly that was the only good part about this episode, which was filled with needless melodrama and hack writing. Terrible Master blows you up when you disobey him and try to leave? No problem, just forgive him anyways after you get restored by the girl you were trying to steal from! Oh and just because it’s not clear, make sure to say you’re going with him because you just know he can’t make it without you! Fucking BULLSHIT (ノ ゚Д゚)ノ ==== ┻━━┻

Not being a very good little girl anime already. I’m disappointed with you, Fantasista Doll.

This anime feels like a ’90s show even in the resolution of issues, like in this case. I wasn’t terribly bothered by it.

So anime tells us it’s good to stay in an abusive relationship. I see.

I can see why you were annoyed by this episode, not to mention that Uzume doesn’t seem to get any credit for using a recovery card that she can only use once, with out even thinking. Especially when it could be used to recover one of her dolls in case anything happens down the line. Though putting the shitty ending aside, I still thought it was a decent the episode. Oh, and the best part wasn’t the kick, it was Shimeji getting pissed and just taking down everyone on her own. THAT, was the best part in my opinion. She even swung Aloe around like a rag doll, and turned her into a projectile, nailing one of the dolls. I highly enjoyed that part. It was about time we got to see that monstrous strength of hers from the opening.

Wanderer: Shoujo manga has a long story of glossing over and even justifying abusive relationships.

I’ll agree the Shimeji battle scene was kinda awesome, but sending all sorts of terribly wrong messages about indulging in abusive one-sided relationships totally cancelled any awesome out.

Sure, shoujo manga loves their abusive relationships, but I personally feel disgusted seeing it glorified like it is in this show. Plus, this really isn’t a shoujo-targeted anime, it’s pretty much aimed at the mahou shoujo otaku crowd (i.e. not the little girls).

    Shimeji rocks! Aloe is shit.

I guess you’re meant to believe that the guy will change after what happened, so the claim that it’s being glorified is a bit….exaggerated.
