Genshiken Nidaime 04

Genshiken Nidaime

The other gaijin troublemaker’s back~!

Have to say, Yukana’s English is pretty decent.

…. oh god, why does Hato look so perfect in that Yuu cosplay?

Genshiken Nidaime

Hahahaha Ogiue’s Azusa is so weirdly fitting.

Gaijin = license to inappropriately touch people www

Genshiken Nidaime

Yeah! They kept the PanSto cosplay for the anime \o/

D’awwww Sue ;_;

ComiFes arc begins this week for Genshiken and it’s pretty clear cut with all the usual traditions being adhered to (last minute work, bumping in to people you don’t want to meet, crowds etc etc).

A lot of cosplaying went down this episode too. Ohno’s perfect selections of trap cosplays for Hato was a real laugh-out-loud moment. Is it bad I recognised almost every one of them?

Glad the PanSto cosplay also got in too and it looks like the production team sure went around to ask for rights or something. Even noticed Azazel and the goat from Cuticle Detective Inaba in the show to name some. Next week we’re even getting the Madoka Magica cosplays too (anyone notice the Muromi-san lol?)!

Looking forward to the beginning to Madarame’s harem route next week!

    Damn. The ending of the episode caught me off guard. When Ogiue cried that she’s a failure of a president I swear I almost bawled.

    Loving this anime so far. It’s doing the manga great justice, and Sue is somehow even cuter than I remembered.

    Can’t wait for Madrame’s harem to start up in earnest either! XD All the cosplay was fun to spot and I unexpectedly enjoyed the ComiFes run in with Ogiue’s old classmates the most; it was subtle and chilling in the way only passive-aggressiveness can be. Yabu and Sue defending Ogi-chin was stellar, and the ending just warmed my heart like a cup of hot cocoa.

    I do love Hato’s character, regardless of what anyone else may say. His complicated situation and feelings I think are being handled with sensitivity as well as humor. Bravo to Kio-sensei and to Production I.G..

    Must own this.
