Genshiken Nidaime 01

Genshiken Nidaime

Welcome to the Genshiken, fujoshis and fudanshis!

Genshiken Nidaime

Get out already, Kuchiki.

Genshiken Nidaime

Sue is awesome as usual.

Genshiken Nidaime

I’m not even sure I’m watching Genshiken anymore.

Genshiken Nidaime

Poor Madarame….. ;_;

Genshiken Nidaime

It’s okay, they found a “uke” for you.

Welcome back to the Genshiken after six years! Yes, it’s been thaaaaat long. Dedicated manga fans will probably know what’s in store, but all you anime-only fans are probably going to be in for a real ride this time around ahahahaha.

I wasn’t honestly looking forward to this after the seiyuu change fiasco, but I actually liked the first episode. It’s kept real close to the source material and I’ll be damned if all the -monogatari jokes weren’t played out well. Hell they even had a scene of Sue watching the original anime lol.

As for the seiyuu changes…. well, Madarame’s definitely never going to live up to the original. It’s odd hearing Yukana as Ohno, but I’m slowly warming up to it. Rina Satou’s Saki is surprisingly very fitting too, I guess it’s because Rina’s got the “knack” for those characters by herself. Also not really much complaints for Ogiue’s new voice, I honestly can’t tell the difference at times. And I actually like Sue’s new voice too, it’s really good for a debut role. FukuJun’s Kuchiki is definitely the most epic change so far, he really brings to life the “perverted” aspect to Kuchiki.

The rest of the new cast are rather decent too, although Yajima sounds like a guy most of the time w. Hato’s female voice is really too moe though, I’m having very complicated feelings about this one.

Well, despite the shouts of “IT’S RUINED BY FUJOSHIS NOW”, I guess I’m going to keep watching Genshiken Nidaime. After all, there’s Noto-sama promised later… ahaha~

I did not like Madarame’s new seiyuu or Ogiue’s… It was disappointing.

I cried blood when I heard Madarame and Kuchiki talk. This is surely Fukujun´s most horrible role so far. You just can´t go from Ishida Akira to Fukujun.

    Noto-sama? When?

I wasn’t going to see this shit, but well… If a fall for FREE, this shit is fine too.
