Well, I hope you’re all ready for the arc that shows how fucked up Hanekawa’s character is. When I first read this… let’s just I say I was surprised in so many ways that I never expected to be surprised in.
Mayoi fanservice right from the start…. wait. “Dragged me away”…?!
Hahah Mayoi self advertising. Yeah I can’t wait for Kabukimonogatari. Heard it’s the best of the arcs.
Mmmm armpit fanservice.
Yeah. This part. Really fucking surprised me. She actually chose to stay like hobo rather than asking for anyone else for some help.
Thankfully, Senjougahara slaps some sense in to her.
Dat bed head.
Seriously, her bed head.
Aw damn, that perfect SHAFT headtilt.
I’m sure you are.
Goddamnit this pose. And yes, Hanekawa’s bed head is (adorably) awful.
ヽ( >∀< )ﾉ AHAHA AHAHA AHAHAHAHA
Yes, we know.
What has Hanekawa got herself into?!
Gotta hand it to Senjougahara, she doesn’t beat around the bush at all.
How can you resist such an earnest girl?
Please, tell me more!
Heh, and we end it off right before it gets serious with a serious question.
So, after this episode, I’m sure there will be many people who will see Hanekawa in a new light. For starters, if you think she’s the most well-adjusted sorry… she’s utterly broken and insane at parts. The anime captures it well, but it’s still probably only around 50% of it (basically her inner thoughts). If you have the time, reading the LN would be recommended. Of course, after the anime finishes this off that is.
As for the anime itself, it’s pretty much SHAFT going full Monogatari. By this time, if you’re still gonna complain about their style, it’s really barking up the wrong tree. Really, what’s a -monogatari show without all those <COLOR> frames!
