Ghost in the Shell Arise OVA 1

Ghost in the Shell Arise

LoliLogicoma too moe…. hnnnnnggghhhh

Arise turned out to be pretty good, despite my earlier reservations about the new designs and the seiyuu cast changes. As long as they keep Kusanagi and Batou badass, it’s not too hard to satisfy the GitS fan inside me! Of course, this also depends on your ability to decouple the new series with any of the other previous GitS works, because this is an entirely new rendition of the basic settings and characters.

If there’s anything I’ll miss though, it’d be the Yoko Kanno soundtracks. But otherwise, I’d say Arise is a good action-scifi thriller anime. So far. Whether it’ll live up to the standards SAC set… we’ll have to see :)

Eh it’s okay I guess tho I’m having hard time getting used to the new Kusanagi voice as well as the more ‘cutesy’ look =/ Just gotta keep thinking about this as something completely different.

It was always clear that Batou and Motoko met before, given the date mentioned. I’m curious if the accident that caused full cyberization that motoko described is an accurate one or merely the one she chooses to reveal or are they falsified version of the events due to the circumstances of the story?

So far, the incidents and events described do not directly contradict my recollection as to how individuals met.

I look forward to seeing how this develops.
