My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU 10

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru

Sigh… you brought this on yourself, Yukinon.

Sagami is really worst type of person. Vindictive of others, a hypocrite and pretty much all-talk. Yukinoshita should’ve known the EXACT type of person she is at first glance, yet she’s choosing to enable her just for the sake of running away from her own perception of fault and failure no matter the cost. Not to mention alienating friends who do care about her in the process. You brought this all on your own self, Yukinon

It’s going to be interesting to see how Hachiman salvages all this though. Hopefully, some comeuppance gets delivered in the process!

While this was a heavy episode, there was some bright moments too thanks to fujoshi-chan.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru

Hahahahaha, it’s almost endearing now how passionate she is for her hobby and not being afraid to show it. Loved how she took charge of the play that Hachiman’s class is doing, not to mention unearthing gems in the rough in the process.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru

Their play better get some screentime! Prince Totsuka HNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yeah, why the hell has nobody on the committee called Sagami out on her bullshit?

I read that there will be a game adaptation of the LN. Maybe, the Totsuka Route will finally be available. XD

well, im also kind of pissed at that Kaichou Shiromeguri Meguri(another tongue-twisting name). i know she really does want to make the festival a success but always bringing up the name of Yukino’s sister twice, even after noticing how uncomfortable she is on the first time… its like she doesn’t care at all. And she cant even control the chairman she elected? how the hell does she managed to become president? she’s more suitable to be class rep.

on a side note, instead of switching Hayato’s role and changing Hachiman with Totsuka, wouldn’t it be better if Hachiman stay as pilot, and Hayato changed with Tostuka as prince?(and lol at that silent smirk Hachiman gave the moment Totsuka’s name is written)

Yeah, why the hell has nobody on the committee called Sagami out on her bullshit?

Everyone being lazy fucks? The seitokaichou was the most incompetent of them all. Cute, but useless.

  5. What? Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 12:24 am

So why did Sagami accept the position in the first place?

Also I think Prez wanted Yukino to become chairman because she’s the only competent person in the room, hence the ton of mentions about Haruno.

  6. Kurogane Shiroikaze Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 12:26 am

So why did Sagami accept the position in the first place?

Because she’s an attention-seeker? C’mon guys, /watch/ the damn show first!

  7. Dakkar Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 12:28 am

The show starts from methodically building up Yukinoshita as the perfect human (according to Hikki), then it proceeds to methodically show the flaws that complement her strong points. In the end, Hikki is likely to be able to perceive the real Yukinoshita, even if getting to see past the ideal facade takes longer compared to her sister’s case. Still, it’s hard to believe there’s an anime out there with a logical and consistent story.

    @Tropic Thunder
No one else volunteered for the position, and Yukinoshita, who’s doing her work, outright declined the offer from the start. Kicking out Sagami and reshuffling the committee is going to create a huge mess resolving which would take too much time and effort, and they’re already short both on time and human resources.

Props to Haruno for engineering the fallout, btw…

Mai Nakahara is goddamn scary as Haruno.

  9. Dakkar Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 12:49 am

And I bet that if asked later on, she’ll explain that she did it for her little sister’s sake with a   Now that I think, who’s going to voice Yamato in the Blue Steel?

  10. Kurogane Shiroikaze Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 12:50 am

If they keep the drama CD cast, Yamato will be voiced by Noto Mamiko.

  11. Dakkar Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 12:55 am

Now that’s interesting. Considering the vibes I’m getting from Yamato, it might end up as an unusual role for her…

  12. Kurogane Shiroikaze Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 1:00 am

Noto’s done her fair share of villains and “bad girls”, don’t worry.

  13. Hayate Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 1:05 am

like i said before, how the hell did she managed to become President in the first place? and for what?

  14. Dakkar Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 1:06 am

Yeah, I’ve just checked, and after seeing Asagami on the list, I have no worries.

  15. Dakkar Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 1:10 am

So, people who prefer to dodge conflicts never become stuco presidents?

  16. Hayate Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 1:15 am

what i mean is, from the way she behave, she cant even give order properly, people doesn’t seem to listen to her either. So how the hell did she managed to win the election?(pretty sure she wont win if she just depends on her looks)

  17. Hayate Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 1:23 am

seriously though i think the president’s incompetent behavior is one of the main reason why Sagami can do as she please

  18. Dakkar Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 1:32 am

Positions with additional responsibility and little benefits in exchange for the trouble are hardly attractive, and this episode has shown that students in this show think along the same lines. A cute girl who easily gets along with others and sings praises to the right people is quite capable of getting the position provided she wants it. Besides, while she’s guilty of inaction during a couple of key points, it can hardly be called her blunder. Particularly if taking action involves opposing Haruno who she admires. And yes, Sagami was just riding the wave that Haruno’s created.

  19. Hayate Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 1:43 am

well, i can agree on your point.
but for me, i find myself hating her as much as i hate Sagami… maybe more as she managed to deflect all the blame to Sagami instead and appear innocent

It’s kinda amazing how shameless Miss Chairman is. Attention is cool but all the attention is doing is showing how much of a slacker she is.

Of course, it’s actually partially Yukino’s fault for trying to do everything herself. Miss Chairman was trying to work seriously but Yukino kept overriding her.

  21. Kevin Yamagata Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 3:18 am

Really can’t be helped when Yukinon choose to do all the stuffs herself, I could see and support her reasoning. And the presence of Haruno just adds more mental pressure to her…poor Yukinon…

Not visiting her office just to chat with her little group in classroom…that couldn’t be counted as ‘serious’.

  22. Pitty Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 3:56 am

I wonder if Yukino lied and skipped school on purpose just so the other people will suffer.

  23. moridin84 Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 4:10 am

    @Kevin Yamagata
Errm, she gave up after the first scene with Yukino as president. She started coming in later after that.

  24. moridin84 Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 4:11 am

    I mean vice-chairman

  25. Kevin Yamagata Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 7:31 am

She did that after she visited the Volunteer Club to ask help. I took the scenes later means ‘Oh, so she’ll take all of my jobs. Lucky, I’ll just hitch around and the jobs would still be done.”

  26. moridin84 Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 6:46 pm

    @Kevin Yamagata

    Here’s the sequence as I see it…

    1) Sagami becomes chairman
    2) Sagami asks for Yukino to be vice chairman
    3) Yukino upstages Sagami
    4) Sagami starts coming it late, leaving things to Yukino

Sagami actually looked pretty upset during that meeting, especially after people started praising Yukino, saying that she should be the chairman. So I took it to mean that Sagami just gave up and let Yukino be the chairman.

  27. Kevin Yamagata Said,

    June 8, 2013 @ 7:18 pm

She wants everything (the title, the praise) but isn’t willing to do anything. That’s the strongest sign I got from her.

Now I feel that this Haganai clone is getting depressing in my opinion. But hey, Totsuka is there to save this episode for a limited time!

Now then, looks like it’s chaos on the next episode, and Hayama predicted right this time!

Besides the comedy and romance genre, are there other specific things about this anime? I think I might watch it.

Heres what i think about the anime

1.Hikkigaya Hachiman has the most impressive skills ive seen in Anime history to have no single care and not even like Yukino

2.Yukino should appear more in the series, i like her very much

    3. Yui is nice

4 Sagami is a slacker, lazy, girl who lends all the work to Yukino, and is also a total asshole.

    5.the anime is really nice
