My Shironeko Episode can’t be this Painful to Watch!. 07

OreImo

She broke there alright.

So uh… yeah, finally we’re in the Shironeko arc but holy shit what this painful to watch or what?

Where do I even start? The part where they reinforced Kyousuke’s massive siscon boner for Kirino for half the episode? Or the part where Kirino and Manami both gently urge him to go out with Kuroneko? Or is it the part where Kyousuke totally loses his mind after accepting the confession and starts asking people he just knew about when to grope someone’s boobs? This episode was a total trainwreck through and through.

Even if Kuroneko went totally dere and cute at this episode, there’s this sinking feeling that she knows she’ll never be able to win over Kirino, but she can damn well delude herself in to thinking Kyousuke ACTUALLY wants to go out with her. Sigh…. I knew this was going to be a terrible thing, but I didn’t expect it to be THIS terrible. No wonder people were burning stuff.

Wonder how long this trainwreck’s gonna continue ploughing on…. siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh

Our Father who art in Heaven, give us this season our deepest wishes. Protect us from faithful LN adaptation -this one time- and bring us an anime original.

    Amen.

There is one salvation in this situation, have an anime original ending to pave way for Kuroneko’s love.

Already outlined the reasons why in my post, would love to hear the opposing sides’ views.

Also, not really a fan of taking the anime original route, and it’s also a bloody massive cop-out if they do. Plus, no way in hell or heaven they are going to cater for Kuroneko fans after all this.

I haven’t read the LN at all; the suggestion here is that Kirino wins at the end of that. I won’t call myself spoiled or anything, since I don’t know how it occurs. It may still be left open to interpretation as far as I know.

But I’m watching the anime and enjoying it as I go. I’m in a love-hate relationship with Kirino, and that might be why Ruri edges out for me in terms of favorites. I’m happy with this week’s episode, but I acknowledge that Kirino was absent the whole second half, so I’ve yet to see her reaction to this official dating. So maybe it was a nice calm before the storm — a chance for, as you have said, enjoying the fantasy before reality kicks in. Those moments are worth it right?

Ironically I wasnt feeling this ep too well. Wasnt expecting it to turn like that. In my view it should have started with Kuroneko and Kyousuke going well straight away and Kirino finding out about it later

Me too, didn’t expect them to waste HALF THE EPISODE turning Kyousuke into a bigger siscon than he is already.

Kuro, sometimes I wonder if you’re a massive doM for still putting up with this shit.

Kyousuke was incredibly painful to watch. He clearly cares about Kuroneko a lot and also is pretty obviously enamored with the idea of having a girlfriend, but he’s basically only fulfilling Kuroneko’s wishes…ah, it’s not like that’s weird per se, but gah…If it goes well for her in the end, it would be interesting to see how their dynamic will develop. Manami was pretty painful as well and I don’t understand her at all right now. Actually Manami and Akagi have basically disappeared from the show it seems….

Incidentally, amazing acting from Kyou and Kuro this week. Nice to hear Nakamura Yuuichi being snarky again too.

Why can’t we have an anime without Kirino and Kyosuke… so it can be interesting to watch ?!?!?

Ok, I don’t think the episode was that bad, but yeah, building up the siscon complex felt reeeeaaaalllly out of place. I grinned through the whole second part, though. What the hell Kyousuke is? Koi-suru otome? I haven’t read the LN so I don’t how it will end, but I really consider dropping the anime at the same time Kuroneko and Kyousuke break up. If there would be any other route I wouldn’t mind, it would be the Manami route…
