Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo 21

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

Sad Nanamis in rain ;_;

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

(ノω=;)。。。you’ve tried your best, but in the end….

Even Sorata’s not getting off light too…

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

I was actually going to laugh at him failing again, but when I heard he lost to a fucking Vocaloid game…. FUCK THIS GAY EARTH

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

And wow, saying something like that to someone who just lost to a FUCKING VOCALOID GAME…. ouch man. Not very nice.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

Oh man. That’s just too much. Way too much. Final straw, camel back, breaking etc etc.

Yeah, even as much as I can’t like Sorata, seeing his idea he worked so hard on lose to a simpler copycat, getting consoled with “life’s unfair lol dude” and THEN getting a letter offering your illustrator a job after just that one piece of CG … even better men would break.

So pretty much in the Sakurasou world there’s no happy ending for those not born with a silver spoon in their mouth because life’s unfair WOLOLOLOLOLOL

Goddamn, this episode just hits hard…. and pulls no punches either. This episode truly goes with the “hard work vs talent” theme right up to the extremes and it’s actually made it one of the best episodes of the series thus far with thanks as well to the buildup from last episode and throughout the series. Really, this show kinda does it well when it’s not trying to attack it from the romance angle and I’m glad they did so.

Of course, the Nanami shippers are going to rage so hard after this episode, as this damned show just keeps giving it life support even as we all know it’s gonna be doomed from the start. Hell, after all this development, I’m not against it myself either, but that’s really because there’s been zero development of Mashiro since… well, the Valentine’s episodes.

In any case, the show has about 3 more weeks left to make its case and as far as I know, we’ll be ending off hanging since the novels aren’t complete yet. Heh

is only me got the feeling that Fujisawa is the reason why Sorata keep failing in his review. as the rhythm game review with the company back few episode, Fujisawa and director keep on discussing about the game develope, who know they ‘steal’ sorata idea and create another rhythm game with lower cost. it also seem that Fujisawa had lack interested Sorata passion and hinted he only interest in Mashiro’s art.

So Sorata lost… because he was snubbed over a rhythm game, and the game company wants Mashiro too? Man, I have a feeling that I’m sick and tired of Mashiro this Mashiro that!

Anyways, I guess this anime will have an original ending if they took over the light novel.

Allow me to laugh at this part of your post instead. Thank you for making my day after that sad episode.

Can someone hug Nanamin too?! 。゜(`Д´)゜。

That is a big IF. (~_~;)

    Well I have faith. (^_^)

With the way the universe seems to toss bones her way above those who work harder than her, Mashiro is reminding me of Kirino, just likable by herself and not bitchy. Still, it’s kinda annoying how they set this up only to no doubt end with an ‘Everything’s A-OK anyway because POWAH OF FRIENDSHIP!’ asspull. They actually will earn my respect if they follow this to its logical consequences with a Downer Ending.

    Also, dat rain. Again.

I’m pretty sure that this is going for an anime original end.

I think there has been a bunch of changes already, like the little sister failing her exams.

It’s unfair alright when the retarded girl gets all the breaks while the ones that work hard the most don’t.

So yeah, I had enough of this show. Can’t believe I reached 21 episodes.

PS: Yes, I like Nanami. Fuck Mashiro.

How old are you? No offence, I’m just curious.

Talent beating hard work is pretty much how the world is.

No matter what his answer, it still doesn’t change the fact that he made an immature statement.

sorata is so emo. so what if he failed…he only recently got into game designing…does he really expect to get a game made by a professional company that quickly? it would be funny if ryonosuke submitted the game idea that beat him

plus hes been such a douchebag towards mashiro with his whole inferiority complex it feels good to watch him suffer! too bad he will probably lash out at her again next episode over her job offer.

i feel bad for nanami tho

True but like I said, I’m curious.

  12. OverMaster Said,

In the real world, it depends. Sometimes people with talent fails hard to achieve anything, sometimes it’s people who has worked hard who fails regardless. Sometimes hacks who lack both things succeed, just because they exploit a fad, or the public is being stupid, or they have connections, or a combination of the above. Sometimes, just sometimes, people who has talent and works hard succeeds, even!

  13. Crimson7 Said,

To add to the little talent vs. hard work we have going on here, let’s put things in to perspective:

Sorata – wants to be a game designer, has worked less than 1 year to achieve goal
Nanami – wants to be a seiyuu, has worked 2 years to achieve goal
Mashiro – artist, has practiced most of her life

From that we can see the amount of time each has spent perfecting their craft. Talent alone does not equal success. I don’t think Mashiro just picked up a brush one day and magically painted a masterpiece. She did work hard for it and she continues to do so. Her level is already so high because of all the time she put in.

As for Sorata and Nanami, they’d only fail if they stop trying. Consider their current failures as merely setbacks, unless they give up pursuing their supposed dreams. But getting beat by the Vocaloid game is a real punch in the gut. And the letter to Mashiro from the game company is just twisting the knife.

Add to all the other shit going down around them and you can’t help but think, as Kurogane has so eloquently stated, “FUCK THIS GAY EARTH!”

That’s why I dropped this shit, we won’t get a proper final for the series, so fuck off.

Oh yeah, now that you mentioned it, Yuuko was supposed to be their kouhai, but this adaptation averted that.

  18. Maserbeam Said,

    March 7, 2013 @ 4:52 pm

Kurogane, I can’t deny that I find your reaction interesting; it seems more pointed at Vocaloid itself, rather than about someone else that got lucky because they picked Vocaloid. At least, that’s how it reads to me. Sorry, if I’m misinterpreting.

  19. Kurogane Shiroikaze Said,

    March 7, 2013 @ 8:33 pm

Well that’s because I don’t like the Vocaloid thing myself, also I feel for Sorata for having something that’s not as good as his idea getting picked because it has “tie-ins”.

  20. Hayate Said,

the situation for this anime is the same as Toradora actually, as the final episode of the anime pretty much came out a few days before(or is it after, cant remember) the final volume of the light novel got released, but the plot and ending pretty much still stay the same

so i guess they did discuss with the author about the final volume or even spoil some of the draft so that the ending wont deviates too much from the novel. whatever it is, please no original ending, as those always sucks, period.

  21. moridin84 Said,

    March 8, 2013 @ 2:19 am

Errm, I’m pretty sure that the anime is at least 2 volumes behind the existing novels.

  22. cshin9 Said,
