Tamako Market 08

Tamako Market

About time someone did something about that fatass bird! Dera finally gets forced to go on a damn diet after being way too fat for his own good. With, er…. interesting results. Isn’t he like totally unbalanced or something in his post-diet form?!!

KyoAni continues to weave their magic with this episode with some excellent direction from Yasuhiro Takemoto, resulting in an episode that not only has great sitcom moments eliciting many honest-to-goodness laughs, but also goddamned pretty to look at as well. Only thing that could be said was the lack of further character development of the cast, but Choi has almost finally gotten used to the friendliness and busybody habits of the Usagi-yama natives. Despite how it sometimes lead to harmful side effects www

Kanna had a lot of good moments too as she gets used to set up most of the “chicken” jokes about Dera.

Tamako Market

Sounds very delicious indeed

Kanna’s deadpan delivery got used to great effect in this episode as well, particularly liked the scenes of her boasting about the bird-house, followed by the baton club scenes a lot. ‘Temporary Manager (Ambition)’ wwwwww. She really deserves more screen time alongside with Choi. And glad to see that Nagato-clone’s barely appearing too. I’d say 90% of her screen time is pretty much a waste of frames.

Next week, Anko gets yet another episode?

P.S. Have a little brown girl in fashionable outfits gallery showcase.

    Once you go brown, it, uh, doesn’t… go down…?
    I dunno where I was going with that.

    @Kaisos

    That’s a bit wrong, but having Choi wearing a school uniform… is a thumbs up for me!

    Tama looks like a ghost in comparison with choi’s skin colour xD I watch this show with my girlfriend and even she was head over heels for choi’s natural cuteness :3

    Tamako Market is the heartbreaking story of a little boy on an island whose friends all eventually leave him behind so that they can eat mochi and be fawned over by moe schoolgirls forever.

    While I laugh at Organics comment, I think to myself one thing. Is this boy stupid? I mean if Dera has to turn into a projector to transmit his calls, how could Dera answer? Duh. :)
