The episode in a nutshell. Seriously, lol’ed so hard at the scene after I finished the episode and realized it was foreshadowing the cliffhanger at the end.
The Alone this week really reminded me of Ramiel from Evangelion, even if the staff did quite a bit of changes to it. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that way. Found it really funny too how they sped thru the DOCKINGU stock footage… felt like someone in the staff failed to plan this episode properly to the 24 minutes timeframe www.
And that’s because slice-of-life/bonding parts took more precedence here it would seem, but compared to last episode’s deserted island madness, this week’s really felt forced. It’s basically “Even if you’re saving the world, your school grades are even more important!” and I’m like LOLWUT? Well, I guess it builds character but in Akane’s case, I seriously felt the higher-ups should’ve tweaked her marks discreetly as well. Hell even Black got forced to go to school because apparently the baddies made it a clause in her contract? I’m not even sure what to think of that when they are basically getting her to destroy the entire world….
Also, being Black is suffering.
Why does everyone bully the poor girl when all she wants is to feed stray cats and destroy the world to save her parents T_T…..
P.S. Why are you storing Grandpa’s body in the goddamn kitchen fridge?! The Isshiki’s are really weird.
