Dereban best Inaban. Seriously.
Well, Michi Random had some pretty serious drama going on, even more so than the standards of this show. I can’t say I don’t feel for Iori though, the burden of expectations when you bring an “image” of yourself to a level it’s way too distant from your own would eventually result in a unsightly “break” like that. It’s probably even worse when the people you care for are the same ones piling the expectations even higher and heavier… I’m glad she managed to make peace with herself though.
The more interesting part would also be the resolution of the love triangle between Taichi, Iori and Inaba. I’ll admit, Inaba really grew on me through the course of Kokoro Connect and I guess I was rooting for her to get Taichi more than Iori. I mean, she can say such majorly embarassing things like…
… oh god that last part totally hit me straight in the nutbladder. I seriously wasn’t kidding when I said Inaba carried this show for me.
So yeah, all in all, I’d say Michi Random really concluded Kokoro Connect quite satisfactory, resolving our main trio very nicely plus also not forgetting to show that Aoki and Yui moving on with themselves after their parts got resolved earlier in the series. Plus, Dereban End is the best end I could hope for!
