Want more loli Sugu…
Anyways, back in the game, Sugu gets cheered up by an unexpected person….
Oh no, Recon, not a good…
Aw damn, he said it.
LOL, seriously bad timing man.
Poor Recon friendzoned forever…
Anyways, somehow these two decide to solve their ‘thing’ with a fight.
… which kinda ends in this.
Oi oi you idiot siblings…. I think I’ll spare everyone the sappy dialogue here. A spinning-hug in the air… seriously c’mon!
Poor Recon still friendzoned forever.
Ahhh what I would give to have my own Yui… ;_;
Even with one more person… it’s still not that easy to break through. Not like it was meant to be broken through in the first place :(
Wait, Recon what are you….?
RECONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!! (And he’s still forever friendzoned T_T)
And sadly, even his sacrifice was rendered moot… damn you Sugou.
But backup arrives in the nick of time! Awww yeah, Sakuya and Alicia!
FUCK YEAH DRAGONS!
Man, this part was so epic. Kirigaya family power!
Kirito badass levels: OVER9000. Sakuga levels: MAXIMUM.
Unfortunately, still screwed over by that damn bastard Sugou at the end.
Luckily Kirito managed to get the Key Item before charging in.
Oh man oh maaaaaan…. this episode.
While the first half had quite the sappy moments, the second half really made up for it. This part was really the climax of the ALO arc for me, and seeing it brought to life was pretty damn awesome. Especially with that awesome SAO track playing as the BGM. Man, I really want that OST CD now.
Only regret two things though, one was that it was a little bit shorter than I liked, but that seems to be the norm for the anime adaptation so far I guess. Second thing was also how they changed Kirito’s last charge in to a pretty cheesy rocket thing rather than him going all omnislash with his Dual Blades skill on the guardians to break through. I mean, what’s the point having Sugu’s katana if it wasn’t going to be used! Oh well, I guess they ran out of budget at that point, what with all the dragons and magic hahah.
Next week, final boss time! And oh yes, it will be so satisfying to watch… but be prepared for nasty.
This week’s end card by Takenashi Eri.
Man, even the end card this week is awesome!
