Sword Art Online

Ahhhhhhhhhh this part too ahhhhhhh too cute ahhhhhhh overloading….

Sword Art Online

D’awwwww Yui D’awwwwww

Sword Art Online

Sword Art Online

Sleeping Yui makes me want to protect her from all the evils in this world ;_;

Sword Art Online

Ugh, this bastards really are…

Sword Art Online

Hoooohhh boy… mad Asuna is mad.

Sword Art Online

That look of utter contempt and rage on Asuna….. note to self, never ever piss her off seriously.

Sword Art Online

Asuna’s soaking up the adulation heh.

Sword Art Online

Yup… Mama’s really strong, Yui! So strong it’s scary at times!

Sword Art Online

Uh-oh, Yui bugging out…. and the episode ends.

Ahhhh dammit, I almost died to this episode’s overload of moe from both Asuna and Yui. I kinda knew this was coming but I never expected it to be this…. much. Especially the first half of the episode, with all that Asuna flirting around with Kirito! Then Yui’s double whammy sure almost did me in…

Eh okay, enough being disgusting there hahaha. No complaints this time from me on the adaptation… except maybe it feels a little bit fast. Still, Yui’s arc is getting a very proper treatment (2 episodes holy shit!), which sure does show where the production committee’s priorities are at!

I wonder if the fishing parts will get animated. We did see Nishida getting put in to the episode though, so there might be chance for it… sans Yui I guess. If the next episode goes as what the original material did. Oh well, we’ll see next week I guess…. must have more Yui!

Sword Art Online

Ahhh this week’s end card is adorable too~

If only Kirito and Asuna adopted Yui should they fail on finding her parents… like a certain Dr. Kayaba. (just finding clues or rumors)

On the other hand, that Chapter 16.5 is… Beautiful! *manly tears*

This was such a heartwarming episode.
For me, the touching moments with Asuna and Kirito in the beginning, and with Yui just being her adorable self made this an enjoyable episode without complaints.
I like how they included Nishida in this episode as well. I smiled while Kirito was handing Yui a super spicy sandwich told her, “If you think you’re ready, I won’t stop you. Everything in life is an experience!”. Her face was also just priceless.
Ah those Army Douchebags.. someone should have reminded them who They’re dealing with..The Flash and The Black Swordsman.
This was definitely a well done adaptation.

too bad they didn’t put the scene where they check Yui’s equipment list
but i guess thats gonna almost reveal who Yui really is

still, i know Yui is gonna be cute in animation but DAYMN, that was a bit too much
as expected of one of A-1’s main specialty

Can someone explain to me if this frame was a production error or Kirito does see Yui with her eyes open at that moment anyway.

They were talking about what would happen if Yui was a quest-giver NPC. That’s just an image.

Loved Asuna and Yui but I thought Kirito was a bit like a cold fish. Respond, reciprocate, dammit. At least look a bit more like you’re on cloud 9! I was kinda expecting him to be smiling like an idiot so much, you’d want to beat it off his face sometimes. Instead, he looked happiest when he was taking Asuna deep into the forest to look for ghosts and feeding a little girl super spicy chili. Do-S yarou? I sure hope I’m not sensing the dark side in him. Or is Reki planning to bring an older Kirito into AW playing a Kayaba-like villain? Kayaba does vaguely seem like a version of Kirito if he had grown up without falling in love with Asuna.

Also, super curious about Yui’s reaction at the end of the episode. I thought she was reacting to the kids but she seemed to be looking somewhere else. Did something happen off stage?

Personal episode highlights for me was…

    1) Asuna panicking if she really was into younger guys. (Yes, yes she is.)

    2) Asuna casually backflipping off Kirito when Yui appeared in the forest. (Fuck yeah, those points spent on Acrobatics always come in handy.)

    3) Yui’s teary smile while taking a bite out of Kirito’s extra spicy burrito/sandwich. (Such a brave little tyke…)

All in all, SAO this week was pretty good, with an unexpected sprinkle of healing courtesy of a certain little fairy.

…the Yamada thing killed me. I didn’t care all that much about the episode, but that alone made it all worth it right there. Thank you for that.
