Only wise course of action after stumbling in to
Baphomet the boss.
Dat Asuna stare.
Oh god dere-dere Asuna HNNNNGGGGGGGHH
Lol, Klein BSOD’ed to seeing Asuna with Kirito.
“You might be a bro, but she’s my ‘ho!” wwwwwwww
Seriously, Klein’s such a bro though. And Asuna’s smile nearly caused a mini heart attack for me. Every. Single. Time.
Derp, those noobs rushing at the boss without help and planning.
FUCK YEAH, DUAL BLADES TIME!!!!
Awesome Kirito is awesome.
Hahaha fuck yes, solo-killing the boss with that crazy combo skill. Thus, the legend begins here…
Still, gotta say that was a pretty fucking close call there, Kirito. One more second and he would be…. :(
You will never get hugged by a crying Asuna saddestfroginaincrad.jpg
Oh, still have the time for jokes eh, Kirito.
Ahahahaha, Liz got herself some deban this week. DAT SMIRK.
And Heathcliff finally appears in person!
Ohohohoho, a duel for Asuna right off the bat.
Hell yeah, Kirito!
Ahhh, this episode was the most exciting one since episode 2, with all that Asuna and Kirito solo-one-shotting the boss with his secret Dual Blades skill. Man, I lol’ed when they showed his HP bar at the end, seriously makes you think he gets quite crazy at times. Well, it was either the boss or them, those silly Army guys rushing in without any planning and only with their pride. Pretty much following very close to the original material too, so no complaints about that from me this week.
Of course, can’t forget to give kudos to the sound work by Kajiura for this episode too. Sure it’s the same BGM from episode 2, but for me, that track is pretty much the ‘signature’ track for SAO now so I’m glad to hear it every time. The “tension” tracks were done quite well too, in the buildup to Kirito’s awesomeness.
About 45% in to the main story now, the next episode should be even better as Kirito and Heathcliff face off in a pretty epic duel. Hmm… I wonder if they’ll have enough time for Yui’s arc and the last side-story though, feels like SAO arc might just go over the 1-cour count at this pace. Anyways, glad to see A-1 not dropping the ball on the important parts of the show!
