Hyouka 10

Hyouka

>”let’s go for tea.”
>goes to a proper, high-class Japanese place with tea ceremonies and shit.

Oh wow, Irisu-senpai seriously is living up to the “Empress” nick name.

Which brings me to…

Hyouka

Man, Mazui could’ve made it funnier if they translated “勅令” literally. Because that’s the effect Houtarou was going for.

And the cameraman → murderer solution? Seriously?!

Never noticed this before, but… Irisu’s pretty busty, isn’t she?

As he explained his answer I wasn’t sure that really could be the answer. It did seem to have an answer for everything including motive, which was something that was something no one brought up last week. That said I didn’t really feel like it was a very good answer since it felt like he found a convenient answer that no one noticed. I do have to say thought the name really fits well with the plot he thought up. Luckily in the end he is asked the question ‘Why did she ask for the rope?’. He totally forgot about that little part of the puzzle, and so did I actually until she brought it up. I wonder if he’ll think up some other explanation next time to account for that or just say it was to tie up the camera man after they caught him.

Idk, she looked pretty busty already in the last episode. You would know if you looped her parts.

And seriously, where is Hongou? Dead already? It should be a month or two already in the show isn’t it…

Actually the camera being the seventh’s character have kinda been on my mind since last episode mentioned a seventh casting call.

Still I don’t think it’s as simple as just that. As this episode tries to point out we can’t expect a red herring.

The clothes in this show drape like real clothes do (ie: no magic shirts), so its less obvious. But from the side, when you see how far out from her stomache her shirt is, its pretty obvious.

    I find Irisu rather fascinating.

don’t think she’d put out though.

Yeah.. about those shirts and them hanging over the boobs like that, does that actually work IRL too? I’ve never really quite seen them behave like that.

    1) Somehow I sense Hongou, Irisu and the rest of the crew have some issues and her “illness” is not her only reason to be bedridden. The way she was openly bashed by some of her classmates and the fact she was elected by majority is too much useless information at once to not have a use later on. Can’t wait for the next episode. =)

    2) Depends really if the shirt is long enough and if it’s a a loose cut or a tight fit. For a school outfit I would say it’s normal to be loose but here it’s not long enough as if she didn’t think about buying a size bigger to compensate the lack of length due to her chest.
tldr: Technically it’s possible but I haven’t seen anyone with clothes like that in a long while to verify.

Oh and, who the hell is EBA?

I think were going for same “almost there, then wham!” type of mystery as it was with the Chitanda’s uncle and the origins of Hyouka. Everything seemed solved back then, but there was second layer of undelying hidden story.
Still I am convinced there was second master key, prepared beforehand by the perpetrator who visited the mansion earlier.
I am also concerned that our screenwriter might be dead in the “in-show real life”…
And that might be the REAL mystery awaiting us.

About Irisu’s clothes (which seems a topic of great interest here), look at her posture. Oreki is slouching but her back is straight, maybe even curved in a bit.

No mention of Satoshi’s “I jelly” dialogue with Houtarou? ww

    @Zan

Eba’s the best friend of Hongou. The one who brings the Classics Club to see Nakajou, Haba and Sawaguchi, if you remember.
