Fate/Zero 25

Fate/Zero

Naked Gil wins the entire episode. Damn his A+ Charm stat!

Well, that brings the curtain down on Fate/Zero. I can’t find it really conclusive anyways, but that’s the trouble with prequels, you know what happens next already. Still, F/Z has been a fun ride while it lasted. And I seriously do hope Gen gets to make something of calibre further on the future. Must have delicious suffering to balance the moe, y’know.

And speaking of moe…

Fate/Zero

You will never get to hear Rin and Sakura call you “Daddy”… sadfrog.jpg

Wonder if ufotable will make the sequels…. :|

F/Z’s fundamental flaw was always that it was a prequel to F/SN.

Seriously, Kerry should have let Shirou rot. But at least we got a glimpse of high-school Taiga running around like a maniac, waving her shinai. How about a show about her? That’d be awesome.

BTW: Kariya’s such a failure that he couldn’t even successfully kill Aoi.

The amazing thing about this episode is that the only unambiguously happy ending was for Kirei Kotomine, a man who will make a 7 year-old girl cry just for the joy of watching.
Also, Gilgamesh might say he’ll only ever have one friend, but that’s not stopping me from seeing those two as BFF’s.

Making loli Rin cry must be the single most despicable act ever committed. Truly Kirei has risen to the pinnacle of evilness.
Otherwise Gil wins every single award I could think of … too bad reality and logic will have a meltdown in the near future and he’ll be defeated by a delusional teenager and his hacked, emo girlfriend.

As Gilgamesh would say: the sweet look of despair on Saber’s face! So refreshing.

All the premonitions for the 5th Seihai Grand Prix. Illya, Shirou and the 4th GP winners: Kotomine and Gil. We need a Kotomine/Gil route in FSN.

Kariya is still a fool. That is what happens to those that oppose Grandfather.

I actually watched the finale of Stay Night for the very first time before watching this. Not as many chills up my spine as I expected, but still interesting to see the parallels and how certain scenes matched up.

But dayum. Ufotable needs to remake Stay Night with the Heaven’s Feel route pronto.

Gen needs to make his own version of FSN with UFOtable.

Another one for Gen writing the script of a Heaven’s Feel adaptation here.
Maybe we could have Gil actually FIGHT the Shadow this time…

I really didn’t mind the ending, i knew it already, but honestly with the order to destroy the grail, which was highly likely to be an order from him, it seemed like a very plausible ending even with being a prequel. Its not like its something totally out there. I know alot of people would like to have seen a winner, but this was a very viable option and if this was pulled as not a prequel it would have been one hell of a plot twist ending, which i think would have made the series that even better.

Watching Kerry scream and suffer like that almost redeem him for being the complete utter failure of a human being that he has been all his life…

    …almost. Burn in hell Kerry.

    Then again YMMV.

Still it’s pretty monstrous that he twisted poor Shirou like that and never gets called out for it.

Who saves one person, saves the whole world.
Now excuse me , I’ve got to marathon F/SN AGAIN, and Iskander brought snacks…

Well, the mystery of why on Earth has Kirei given Rin the Azoth dagger is now resolved, and it was very Kirei-like.

If Gen ever decides to write the script for a Heaven’s Feel adaptation, I sure hope he finds a way to remove Sakura from it. On the other hand, being the worst female heroine in your own route is suffering enough for Gen to leave the things as they are, so, I guess, there’s little hope for that wish to be granted…

You cannot write a Heaven’s Feel without Sakura as it is her route. Changing it will turn it into a Gil/Kotomine route instead where they win the Grail. again.

Hm, a route where Kirei and Gil play around with kids until it gets boring, trample over all the worms that make up Zoken, let Avenger out and and get to keep Saber Alter in the end? Well, a man can dream…
