Oh man, Ilya flashback. T_T

Well, Irisviel finally croaks and the stage is set for the epic finale battles. Kirei’s finally reaching the pinnacles of his dastardly evilness, but strangulations two weeks in a row… can we have some variety in our deaths, Urobuchi?

This really was a Waver/Broskander episode though, and they really are trying to sell that guy hard right before it ends. The part with the ‘grandfather’, though rather meaningless, gives a nice send-off to the show’s lighter moments and hammers in the point it’s really ending now. As with the Ilya flashback too. But seriously, did they have to make Waver act so moe at that part?! Dear god.

Aaaaaannd, the preview.

The preview, really. Dammit.

I for one am not sorry to see her go.

I mean she’s a completely flat character that haven’t undergone any real character development or offered anything to the plot since the 1st couple of episodes.

Kirie on the other hand is finally grown into a real boy.

So please exist stage left pitiful little puppet. You’re not even worth a bear.
