Hyouka

THIS WEEK ON HYOUKA: CHITANDAEL GETS MAD, HOUTAROU EXPLAINS WHY.

… no I am not kidding. That’s exactly the entire episode summarized right there. KyoAni, taking the slice of life genre to the next level.

Well, there is Angel Chitanda too I guess.

Hyouka

Next week on Hyouka, Chitandael is happy, Houtarou explains why.

I’d watch a show entirely about that, honestly.

Though seriously, every time they mentioned “Taisai” this episode, I wanted to append “Busou” to it.

wow…you really dislike this show. Maybe I should watch it to see what’s all the fuss about.

All those tiny Chitandas reminded me of Azumanga, NHK, and Pani Poni!

I’m dying to find out whether they can pull a Clannad out of this. 24 x 30 mins is alot living I could have done (doing nothing).

they manage to make anime about ‘cute girls doing cute things’ sells
now its ‘cute girl doing nothing’, and it still sells…

    What happened to you, Kyoani..?

This was actually mainly “cute girl talking about doing nothing in particular” more like.

I find the Moyashimon bacteria to be pretty cute. Welp, to each his own, I guess.

Oreki should star in his own show where he’s a student solving crimes with his sick deductions. We never had that one before.

They became god tier studios. The author became a god tier novelist.

And naysayers are plebians, it’s too deep for them to understand that:

I like when she literally tries to think of a mystery on the spot right after realizing how obvious it was for her to get mad.

I honestly had nothing against Hyouka up until now, but I really don’t know how to defend them this time. Not saying I’ve become immune to Chitanda’s guilt trip superpowers. I still have no intention of dropping this.

I laughed pretty hard at the angel parts and the argument scene, aside from that, pretty boring.
But then again, they already solved the main riddle, so I guess they are only whittling away time now?

No, no, it can’t be that they were speaking about all the deadly sins for no reason. This episode was about wrath, and during the following six Chitandael is going to experience the rest. The arc is called Deadly Seven and you have lust to look forward to…

Uh, do you really think she needs him to explain why she got mad? That girl is a genius. She got inside his head enough to see how his heart ticks. It’s a gambit on her part. She either gets him closer or pushes him away.

Geez, really people, wake up and smell the narrative.

All I know is the teacher of Chitanda’s class is a cruel jerk – There ISN’T a (real number) solution for y=x^2 + x + 1, let alone when restricting x between 0 and 3. So the only answers would’ve been nonreal.

    (The answers are: ((i*sqrt(3)) + 1)/2 and ((i*sqrt(3)) – 1)/2 by the way.)

  21. Dakkar Said,

    May 29, 2012 @ 10:22 pm

I wasn’t really paying attention, but didn’t he ask for the range of function under the restriction of the domain, there even was something about plotting it? If so, it’s pretty trivial and doesn’t involve any complex numbers.

Ah, and that video is golden :D

    @Heero Yuy

Well, that’s the equation of a parabola (y=ax^2+bx+c), so the problem solution is to draw that part of parabola in the x range!

So the solution is the red part: http://i.imgur.com/Lp0qa.png

  26. masterjaw Said,

Agree with Kiba. It’s a parabolic equation so mapping it is trivial.
