Fate/Zero 16

Fate/Zero

Being Lancer is suffering…. T_T

And wow, even Irisviel got pissed off with Kiritsugu. That should say something. Heck, even Saber herself gave Kiritsugu a pitying look after their little debate about chivalry and whatnots. This should really mark the true turning point of the series rather than the Mion River battle. The parade of deaths leading up to the finale will be the utmost entertainment, hopefully.

Next week, we’ll be saying good bye to another Master!

    Poor Lancer …sob, sob.
I guess when Rider’s gone in the future I will be crying a river then……T^T
It is really sad to see those Servant gone, except Caster, I still think he should not have a happy death for all the things he did…

Sucks to be Lancer(s). Then again he was kida on the naive side … which brings me to main main point.

Holy crap, how much more I love this story and characters than FSN. Kiri is brutal and shit but that might just have been the most impressive grail war victory ever. Thought out, definitive, efficient, flawlessly executed while still low-profile and low-risk. Words can’t describe how much this dude surpasses (with regard to intelligence, depth and realism) Saber/Shiro spouting naive crap while stumbling into every single trap in the story.
And then there’s also Gil, Kirei, Broskander, Berserk-chan … can’t wait till next week.

good god!! lancer’s end was the most intensely gut wrenching moment ever! the fact that he was such an honourable person, he wanted to correct the mistakes of his past life… my heartttttttttt. and as usual, animation was flawless!

Diarmuid was a true knight and AN HERO till the end, truly being Lancer is suffering…

I hope that *AN HERO* is a remark derived from the days of FSN and the velox comics. Otherwise it should be A HERO. :p just correcting things.

    What a fantastic episode again.

Urobuchi Gen just knows exactly how to present the sides of EVERYONE (even the presumed villains), so that you can understand them, and even sympathize with them.

The fundamental collision between the ridiculously-”honorable” Saber and the bitter and cynical Kiritsugu was exceptional. In the end, Saber wasn’t even mad at him anymore… just feeling pity.

    Great, great writing skills here.
