Inu x Boku SS 12

Inu x Boku SS

Awwwww, that was a nice ending…. NOT!

I’m not so okay with Ririchiyo and Miketsukami going out now due to the many ick factors involved, but who am I kidding? This is still a semi-shoujo manga adaptation after all and there are certain things with the genre I should learn to accept already. Still, I found it hilarious he let him discover his little shrine at the end there…

Otherwise this was a lot more fun show to watch than I expected due to the strong supporting cast. Of course, Kana-tan’s Karuta was absolutely adorable with her “my-pace” antics plus that goddamn cute ending she sung for the show. Then there was of course the zaniness that Kagerou brought in with his “S or M” categorization that truly spiced up the show when it needed. The rest of the residents of Maison de Ayakashi also each had their spotlight too, but still those two were the best.

Inu x Boku SS is a nice enjoyable watch, especially if you don’t like too much melodrama. Plus it has equal opportunity fanservice as well! Well, the manga is still ongoing, but at a pretty glacial pace. Given the Blu-ray sales, I’m not surprised to see a second season down the road in a year or two’s time.

Icky? I was shouting YES! YES! on top of my lungs when they kissed. That was so awesomely wrong yet so right. This was around dawn, so I accidently woke people up. Worth it, though.

Honestly, this was probably the best possible way they could’ve ended this, considering the alternative. Watching Ririchiyo freaking out for half of the episode instead of the usual internal monologue was also very amusing to watch.

Although, I could’ve sworn the shrine was just a joke they anime made up for the ending, much like the Mizuzawa shirts in Chihayafuru. I didn’t expect that…

*sigh* Gintama is gone, InceptionBros is gone, and now this, too. I’ve now officially ran out of Sugita. I think he has a role in Phi Brain 2 next season, though…

It’s become one of select few shows where a lolicon captures his love interest

It’s a shame the YouTube video has been removed – I wanted to see that!
