Oh man, another time jump, not to mention new characters too… Akamatsu, seriously.
Well, I expected this anyways.
Yue is seriously channelling a certain puppetmaster-cum-magical-detective isn’t she?
“Bounded fields”? Oooooooo…
That’s you isn’t it Paio.
Whoa delayed Dios Tukos? Yue has certainly levelled up.
ｷﾀ━━━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━━━ !!!!! Magical Detective Ayase Yue!! And even more delayed spells. That’s pretty amazing.
Negi’s trademark finisher!
Oh fuck, Akamatsu. This is stretching the limits quite a bit isn’t it?! Nooooooo Yueeeeeee!!!
Oh, saved in the nick of time by a mysterious fella. Poor Yue almost got ruined for marriage…. :(
Well, that certainly was an interesting chapter. Judging from the battle skills and choice of profession looks like Yue finished off her course in Ariadne… but unfortunately couldn’t get in to a brainiac job lololol. The irony eh.
Still, Akamatsu really seems to be modelling her after a certain someone… I didn’t know he was such a big fan of it www.
Yue’s fighting style is pretty interesting too. I stupidly mistook it as an application of Magia Erebea, but it seems it’s more like a combination of using potions to store delayed spells and then drinking the potion for her to use it. Very efficient given the time saved to chant the arias for the higher-level moves that she used. I’m not surprised if it was inspired by Magia Erebea though… even the spell choices reflect it heh.
So… the last chapter finally and Akamatsu still manages to give us a nice cliffhanger. Pretty sure that’s Negi… or is it? I’m quite okay with the time skip as it makes for a more logical sense for Negi to finally confess. I mean, 17 year old Negi is going to be pretty hawt isn’t he? Honestly who would take a ten year old’s confessions seriously… :)
Well, we’ll see next week on who is the mysterious savior is. And hopefully a good chapter to bow the series out.
