Really, I can’t help feeling bad for poor Jin.
Especially when he’s so hapless at dealing with them.
Man… he sure doesn’t know what he’s dealing with.
God, he’s so damn right about that part. Sure hope he doesn’t get in to too much trouble with the whole “sneaking in to the girls dorm at night” next week. Poor Jin was so out of his depth.

I am loving the original Macross TV series shoutouts in this episode.
The pairing of Jin X Yunoha out of left field, not so much.

He may be an antagonist, but I can’t help but laugh at Jin’s plight and at the same time feel sorry for him. And yes, he has already beaten Andy (poor guy…) in infiltrating the girls’ changing room.
So, Yunoha is actually crying because she tells Jin she doesn’t want to be alone (not after Amata reached out to her), notwithstanding his praise for her powers. And speaking of powers, Jin finally discovers his natural ability – the power to generate energy shields.
Next episode, looks like Kagura’s stirring trouble in Altair. And perhaps it’s a matter of time before Jin has to start reconsidering his mission.
