Guilty Crown

Wait, this is all a Jewish conspiracy? So the bad guys are the Jews while the Nazis are the good guys now? Oh dear god lol.

Well, this episode was rather shit. If this was an MMO, it’d be like the devs nerfing everyone else just because the main class sucks and no one plays it. TOO BAD SHU STILL HAS ALMOST NO REDEEMING VALUES. Even with the entire cast going stupid. Especially anyone with the surname “Kuhouin”.

Also, I laughed way too hard at Shu trying to use his touchphone. I have to admit… people without hands must hate the smartphone revolution lolol.

Ah, I wonder how bad next week is going to be. Haven’t even watched the preview yet so I can get surprised a little at least.

Yeah, lets use B-2 in broad daylight, at low altitude, so any kid with a deus ex machina weapons can hit it…
Oh and nobody noticed creation of the kill sat network and nobody in the world has ASAT weapons…
My suspension of dibelief has evaporated.
Other than that, it seems Gai was resurrected as total asshole just to make Shu look better. Poor Arisa, winner of worst misplaced love of the season award. BTW her grandpa was utterly badass. Sadly he brought katanas to a gunfight.
and re: conspiracy, it is explicitly stated that it is older than Zionist, hence different… My personal bet is aliens as Gai refers to himself and Inori as something else than humans.

Actually, there aren’t any secret societies named “Da’at”. It’s a reference to the Jewish kabbalah: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Da'at

Also the Zionist movement is pretty young. Like last century young if I am correct.

Resurrecting Gai as a total asshole makes Shu look even worse rofl.

is laughing on a powerless, handless boy that funny to you?..i just can’t and don’t ever want to understand any of you, what has shu done to deserve being treated as shit by the likes of you when.. if you haven’t notice..,shu is but just a boy..i would really like to see how we would all behave in shu’s place..because i’m pretty sure most of us,will do everything perfectly, will be able to command a group of people without a sweat, and will always know the right thing to do at the right time..if it wasn’t clear i was being sarcastic there.. please give the boy a rest,he has suffered more than any average guy..you all complain about shu being a pushover, now how many guys out of 10 isn’t one, following what others dictate you to do,without even thinking about it,now shu never did want the power,he even refused to be with them in the first place, and that was the right thing to do,only a stupid would follow a group of people with no knowledge of them, just because they r as most would say, cool, beacause killing is always cool; complaining about him being naive, what bad is it,isn’t it normal for his age…
And now the drastic change he had to face, will let him grow up to be what most of us could only hope to be

I guess realistically Shuu’s reactions to everything are fine, but two things make him totally unsympathetic.

    1. It’s anime and people expect something different from reality. If we wanted to watch how a real boy would fair and act in a war situation we’d watch a documentary. It’s hard to sympathize with Shuu when he’s got super powers and plots hax.

    2. The plot is so badly written that it’s hard to take it seriously. Shu is acting “realistically” horrible in a world that we can’t immerse ourselves in. Thus we can’t sympathize with his situation. If we were watching a well directed documentary that featured some poor war displaced orphans then tone and seriousness of the work as a whole would allow for viewers to feel for the subjects more.
