Guilty Crown 13

Guilty Crown
No, Shu. Just no. It doesn’t fit you at all.

Sooooo with shit hitting the gutter and everyone under martial law, how do you calm down a bunch of rowdy, annoyed and horny high-school students? Why, by throwing a school festival of course! Complete with a live concert too, since Inori’s there. Thanks a lot, Souta.

At least there were three good things about this episode.

Antigrav legs wut?

Hmm… actually, only Tsugumi was the properly good thing, wasn’t it? But dear fucking god, please don’t pair her up with Daryl. I mean guys, SERIOUSLY?!

Next, student council elections! The writers really have no idea what they are doing, aren’t they?

Time for Kyon facepalm – Mattaku, Haruhi was better with her script for Adventures of Asahina Mikuru!

You have to admit, Tsugumi and Daryl makes more sense than Shu and Inori.

I seriously have never seen a more forced romance for the sake of the plot. Well besides Bella and Edward.

OK what the FUCK is going on? How did we go from “We just stopped Armageddon” to “Let’s have a school festival”. Did I miss an episode?

At least cat-girl Tsugumi was awesome.

This show has disappointed me so much I don’t even watch it properly anymore.

At least wheelchair moe is still in effect.

The show has crossed not only the line of “so bad it is good” but is now well into “what a fantastic trainwreck!” territory

Why was Daryl so tsundere for Tsugumi?

Btw, having dropped after episode 2 and picking it up this episode will I be able to understand the show better if I watch the rest of the episodes or not?

No, not really. You can just watch it for the derp. The story doesn’t give a shit about itself.

Liking a show and objectively looking at the flaws of the show are different processes in my brain.

Figured as much. I guess I’ll just watch the next episodes while just watch the previous episodes when I’m bored and tired and need to watch something without thinking much.

(Wheelchair girl falls out of chair)
(Two guys walk up to her)
    Oh hell no…
    (Start chatting her up)
    Really?! Really guilty crown?
    (Immediately try to molest her)
    Sigh…this is just sad.

It was bad enough to pull that scene that every anime fan has seen since his very first harem but this is just too far. Apparently in Japan if any men see a women on their own they will try to rape her. Even if she is in a wheelchair.
On that note go back to code geass you Kallen/Nunnally hybrid.

Rape. It’s like saying hello in Japan.

I wondered how they were going to screw this show over after the last episode. They went all Devil Survivor on me. And this time it isn´t a good reaction.

And weird to see the last boss being revived after hearing all those splashy sounds last episode.

Anyone want to guess if it will be a deus ex ending where everything resets to before the first arrival of the Lost Christmas and everyone living happily ever after? I´ll put my vote on that now.

Damn show getting thrown into the trainwreck part of the season :(

  17. Silver Said,

    @ DmonHiro
It makes sense. Two weeks pass and ever since they been all locked down, the morals went down. What other way should they do to raise their spirits? I don’t see any problem with that.

    @ Kurogane
You still won’t give Shu a chance? Or did you just completely hate Shu so much that you forgot that he looked a lot more confident this episode? In addition, he’s not crying and whining over Gai’s death so I say that’s good.

On the other hand, hell yeah Tsugumi!

  18. Silver Said,

    January 21, 2012 @ 5:57 am

Oh forgot to add. Those are not antigravity boots. Those are the Dark Boots borrowed/stolen from Lenalee from D.Gray-man.

  19. Kurogane Shiroikaze Said,

    January 21, 2012 @ 11:05 am

I don’t exactly hate Shu, but he’s done nothing yet to warrant me giving some respect to him.

  22. Kurogane Shiroikaze Said,

Whoa… how did I miss that? Didn’t see that shot of Haruka. And also all the hints of Gai coming back in some form too.
