Papa no iu koto Kikinasai

Lack of Raika-san in this episode makes me and Hina sad.

Well, feel is definitely injecting a lot of melodrama and fuwa-fuwa heartwarming scenes to try not to make this series feel so creepy. Which actually kind of works! Except when they do stuff like this….

Papa no iu koto Kikinasai

No seriously, feel. If you’re going for the heartwarming angle, last thing I kinda wanna see is naked siblings hugging each other in outer space singing nursery rhymes.

Well okay, I am probably making it a lot worse than it seems, but I just couldn’t help it hurr. There was another thing I felt a little bit annoyed though, namely the girls’ “rules” for Yuuta during his stay. Just felt it was a wee bit disrespectful to him, which is kinda weird when you consider all three of them seem to be excited about meeting him. I guess walking in to Sora changing wasn’t such a good idea after all.

I don’t know, the bath scene didn’t bother me after they started singing. It was obvious by then they were going for the “sister and mom” angle and it is up to the viewer to decide if they want to get a boner at the time or not.

Well, nothing bothered me as much as the walk-in scene that served as the most awkward cliffhanger this year so far. The show can’t get any worse than that.

I was surprised by Yuuta’s sister’s good English.

Maybe it’s just me but when someone dies in an anime I need a funeral, some gore, or anything substantial to to confirm their deaths. Sure the scenes are still sad but not Clannad level sad.

OT: I thought this site was going to join the internet blackout protest against SOPA too.

I wouldn’t be so sure the parents are dead. If I’ve learned anything from anime/TV shows, it’s that when people go “missing” instead of being killed, there’s a very good likelihood that they’ll show up later.

Like omo said, it’s pretty obvious that it meant that she took on a role of a mother as well as an older sister. So… don’t see anything wrong with that.

Missing/no bodies = not dead, probably show up 2nd last or last episode.

If they can focus more on family relationship and less blatant fanservice this might be a dark horse show.
