Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon 12

Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon

Haha, this confession episode was epic. Contender for episode of the year right there!

I really liked how out of the way Toori’s confession became. He pretty much declared war on the entire world half way confessing and it still didn’t move her. Started grinning like damn fool when Toori finally got the upper hand in the debate with Horizon. And that FUCK YEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH feeling when he absolved his sins. Loved Horizon’s brand of deadpan snark too.

>”I can’t touch your boobs, right?”
>”Huh, what did you say?”
Too bad, Toori. Too bad.

Not to forget Futayo regaining her mojo and beating up Muneshige by sheer speed. That was awesome, not even counting her cutting off the Pope’s bloody hax power off too. Poor Nate as well, she can’t get married anymore ;_;.

Also, Kimi’s erotic cushion.

SO JELLY OF SUZU. I want to have an ero cushion too :3

    I am okay with this.

    Hail King Toori.

next episode it the last episode, from the preview it seem it is a bad ending … and the news speculated season 2 will be air on next yr april …. hopefully that they dont leave climax hanging till then like code geass ( which waited after one yr for the climax suspend)

doubt it will be a bad ending, considering that there’s a scene of the mad professor again. Chances are that it’s a flashback to Ep5 when Toori got kicked.

It certainly has been one rocky but enjoyable ride, kind of said that this series didn’t get the recognition that it deserved. Can’t wait for Book 2.

Oh yes, Tomo’s clean and pretty cushion would be nice too!

Man, I hope it sells enough for a second season. This is probably the first LN adaptation since Toradora that I’ve enjoyed this much. I am surprised at how good Sunrise is handling things now despite the initial confusion.

Toori’s definitely handling things from the Iskandar school of kingship.

I don’t particularly like this show, but Toori never ceases to amaze me.

Horizon’s preorder ranking on Amazon japan is only behind Zero and P4 for shows this season. While no hard number has been release, it is estimate to sell above the 10k/per vol limit.

The second season news hasn’t been reconfirmed yet since it got pulled after the accidental leak.

well considering what i was told kyoukaisen must have another season considering i finally saw the first 2 “light novels” with my very own eyes…

PS if a light novel is about 3K pages long, please be reminded its not a light novel

  12. Hayate Said,

the author for this likes to break his own record on page count(and he did it, like a boss)

some of u might have realized but he actually crated a new universe to put all of his series together, along with other series that basically start before and after horizon(what happen before the war, why the world collapse etc. etc)

  13. feal87 Said,

Hey this episode really convinced me to buy the “light” novels even knowing they’re as thick as an encyclopedia…:P

  14. Chaos2Frozen Said,

    December 22, 2011 @ 5:20 pm

Speaking as someone who held them in my hands, they really aren’t as big as they look on the images online.

  15. Hayate Said,

    December 22, 2011 @ 6:03 pm

    ^but they’re as thick as they look…

  16. Chaos2Frozen Said,

    December 22, 2011 @ 8:42 pm

I don’t know, at most they’re about twice the thickness of a regular light novel… The worst it could do is thrice.

  17. Hayate Said,

    December 22, 2011 @ 9:30 pm

and thats why at baka-tsuki they divide it to 3 parts?

  18. Chaos2Frozen Said,

    December 22, 2011 @ 10:51 pm

Erm, no ^^; They didn’t divide anything; each ‘volume’ comes in two to three ‘books’ (eg. Vol 1A, Vol 1B, Vol 2A, Vol 2B etc) I’m saying each of those books is about double the thickness of a regular light novel.

Kuro-chan, your prayer has been heard ~

  20. Saangi Said,

    December 25, 2011 @ 9:23 pm

Well if I’m not wrong it isn’t called a “light novel” but a “heavy novel” and it was rated by the author himself that it was impossible to adapt it.

    But yeah, Sunrise DID it!

  21. Xellos^_- Said,

    December 28, 2011 @ 2:55 am

the sale numbers for vol1 came out.

16k+ for vol.1 of Horizon BR.

  22. Mushyrulez Said,

    December 30, 2011 @ 7:01 am

But the ‘debate’ just ruined the everything of that scene. Seriously? You DEBATE to win over someone?

  23. nekomimi switch Said,

    January 2, 2012 @ 1:06 am

^ Toori didn’t win her over through debate. The debate was only used to bring out Horizon’s desire (that is, to live). Basically, Horizon won herself over, so to speak.
