Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai 11

Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai

So the childhood friend angle is finally in play after all the hinting and flashbacks. Guess the Meat end will have to wait.

I have to admit, this was probably the nicest Haganai episode in a while, mainly thanks to Yozora lowering her bully levels towards Meat. There’s only so much sadism I can tolerate until the do-er looks like a total asshole. Being the yukata episode also helped quite a bit too. I daresay the show has too much pandering for swimsuit fetishists.

Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai

Awwwwww…. Meat is disappointed Yozora doesn’t want to suggest them going for the festival.

Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai

Yeah, I guess even Rika can look cute with her hair down.

Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai

On the other hand, doesn’t Yozora’s Meat’s choice of yukata look rather…. plain?

Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai

Indeed, Yozora would fit perfectly in a yukata with those looks.

Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai

Poor Kobato must’ve suffered quite a bit in the fitting room…. :/

Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai

This eyecatch is one week too late!

Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai

Yes, a yukata like that would’ve been much more fitting for Meat. And Yozora too, I guess!

Ew, childhood friend Yozora angle. Do not want.

Don’t really want the Meat angle end either, just would rather them ride off into the sunset abusing each other.

This is pretty much why I stopped watching in a nutshell. The series had potential, but did they really need to have Yozora make Meat cry every single episode, without showing any real sign of friendship? There were just too many times where I would watch this and think they didn’t deserve friends, Yozora in particular…

I’d have more sympathy for Sena if she wasn’t clearly getting off on it.

I think you meant Meat there.

Honestly, the only reason to like Meat is that she has the right reactions to Kobato

team OreImo cameo at Comiket was fun!
    also Rika is so full of win;
Those gap-moe elements are all just tools for me to unleash dirty jokes!
Also yay for Kobato’s beloved vampiric anime at Comiket!

That image of Microsoft employees going around Comiket buying fujoshi goods for Rika… And considering the contents of the box she’s got, seeing Largehard written on it was twice as wrong.

Now that the whole “Sora” deal is finally sorted out, chances are, come final episode we’ll see Kodaka and Yozora finally have their first conversation as “Taka” and “Sora” after ten years and a few months spent together with Kodaka oblivious as to who Yozora used to be, and also how will Sena/Meat and the rest of the Club react to her new hairstyle.

And speaking of eyecatches, now that the other girls (…and Yukimura, that sexuality-confusing man-lady) are shown both in their uniforms and swimsuits, the only one left is Yozora in a swimsuit…

@Anise_Punter Same here about Yozora and Sena.
I would like the Kobato angle (no not blood related reveal), Rika angle or Maria angle but the sunset abuse ride thing is good too.

I have read complaints about how it feels like an asspull, notably from the unpleasable folks of anidb. Which was hardly one. The foreshadowing flashback have been slapped right into our face, and even someone willing to look at the characters’ names can see the fcking clues that was right under our nose. Yozora in its original language have its kanji reading like “Night Sky” (Yoru and Sora). Guess what was her gaming nickname in the Monster Hunter parody? Yes, Night. Since Childhood called Kodaka “Taka” (shorten from his full first name), it was easy to guess what was Yozora’s nickname in her childhood. I think those are complaining just for the sake of complaining.

I’m disappointed in Rika for not telling Kodaka that she’s not wearing anything inside the yukata at least she manages to break the 3rd or even 4th wall this episode. Rika as girlfriend seems exciting, although its difficult to get her date on public. Rika reminds me of a certain character this season that can also sniper accurately at the same time perverted as her.

I’m disappointed in Yozora for admitting the truth quite easily by trimming her hair, its even quite stupid she’s not afraid of going near the firework as most of the time, there are still live firework set by demons to be triggered, as its common in a certain country in south east asia, where injuries are results of stupidity.

I’m disappointed in Kodaka for not being imaginative like what if he edit Yozora’s pictures with hair shorter then presto we got your buddy Sora.

I love short black haired characters who are boyish, second to my favorite loli goods.

I was a little upset by this, I cant believe they actually had to have her cut her hair in order for him to get that… I was really looking forward to a flashback or a confession, but instead they burn her hair off. really. Anyway i still can’t figure out if there is some sort of romance in all this or not.

    @jj guy
That’s exactly what happens at the end of the third light novel. But hey, at least it’s for the best – Kodaka’s been spending time with Yozora at the Neighbors Club unaware that his long-lost childhood friend is right in front of him all along, twirling her locks of hair, reading books, and trolling Sena/Meat in between. And if I remember correctly, he once admitted he isn’t good at remembering his past, such as the house to which he (and Kobato) recently moved, but was apparently their original residence prior to moving away ten years ago, as well as the nickname he gave Yozora (otherwise he’ll quickly connect the dots and realize who “Sora” is ten years later; at least he still remembers “his” face).
