Guilty Crown

>mfw there was almost no fanservice in this week’s Guilty Crown.

I just realized that if I invested in stocks like I watched anime, I would be like the investors that keep holding on to junk stocks in the hope they will eventually rise back again some day…. only it never comes.

I am more and more tantalised by:
    1. Shuichiro, his past with shu’s father, possible links to his mother (coworkers? or maybe co-conspirators?)
    2. Segai and his seemingly “wait and observe” way of dealing with Shu
    3. Gai, Inori and “special song” they are planning to use.
    4. genesis and nature of the apocalypse virus – and it’s ability to change hosts – even to machines! – and carry with it parts of the victim’s soul? – possible link to the void genome?
It is obvious there is a story that desperately waits to be told but production team simply doesn’t have the skill to do it justice…

Isn’t it always like that? You wait for an anime to come that takes the world by storm, only to have the years pass by without anything like that ever appearing . Anime went downhill ever since the over-emphasis on moe.

Not enough Inori in this episode…

    Very disappointed…

cryskolt, a lot of people say anime went downhill after such and such. Just like people say that films went downhill after such and such. Also video games went downhill after such and such.
They haven’t. In the last few years you cannot say that no great anime came out. Time often makes things seem greater than they were.

In the very last year for example we had goodies like Madoka or Stein’s Gate… anime has its ups and downs but I would not make it “falling into decay”

what about F/Z then? I would not say anime is hopeless yet.

My take on the anime stock market:

The best stocks are the ones that aren’t usually overhyped before they come out.
