But they’ve the money thanks to Madoka, so let them be =)

And if they do an excelent job with the movie, you know what will happen next right?

If this isn’t a troll and not a recap then I see potential. I would love to see a previous timeline where Homera banded together all the magical girls to take on Walpurgis night. Slowly building hope after helping the girls train and get past their differences only to lead to a full on tragic climax as they all fail and die. Ending with Homera heartbroken moving on to another timeline. It leaves room for kickass action, character devolopment and a finale fitting of the series.

Look up Oriko Magica. There isn’t as much Homura focus until the end, but I’m pretty sure it fits the bill.

ANN has got further details. Turns out that it will be a Movie Trilogy.

First 2 movies will be a Compilation of the TV Series.

The 3rd and final movie will be an all-new story that will take place after the TV Series

It started as a single tear then turned into 2, they fell down into the water and passed through space, time and dimension to become one with the opening theme and these 2 small tears that have been shed now fall down Madoka’s face whenever someone watches the opening animation.
That was my face when the MadoMagi Trilogy was announced.

They will redo the story and focus on Mami instead. Mami > Madoka!

[…] new material. We don’t know what it’ll be about…I’m inclined to agree with Kurogane in hoping that it will be an extension of the 10th episode…but I also really wouldn’t […]

I’m kind of wary of the first part of this trilogy, since I actually thought the series was pretty bad up until Kyouko showed up (hey, we’ve known Mami for 44 actual real-time minutes, now be sad because she’s gone is not my idea of good), but the second and third parts should be pretty stellar.

So, the first two movies will be recaps/compilations, while the third with be a new story with new ending. Interesting. I do hope that they give nods toward the spinoffs Oriko and Kazumi, because that would be just gravy on top of an already good thing.

Time to predict the outcome of those trilogy

Part 1 of the trilogy “Puella Magi”
The story would start with a prologue where all the previous Puella Magi have participated in the Holy Grail hosted by QB, with surviving Puella Magi with exhausted soul gems turned into powerful witch. How about some twist like Mami from another world is actually Walpurgis Night with the ability to jump dimensions considering both are voiced by a single seiyuu. Then on to the present time line with episode 1 up to episode 9. 03-11-12

Part 2 of the trilogy “Hope”
The story would start with confused and broken Madoka who doesn’t know which one to believe, then it involves all different aspects of the Puella Magi universe as QB and Homura keep their conversations long, then proceeds with the lengthened timeline which includes Homura’s episode 10, then in the finale with 11 and 12 plus a sneak preview of the final part of the trilogy. 12-12-12

Part 3 of the trilogy “Bond”
Unbeknownst to anyone, QB from different parallel worlds have stumbled upon Madoka and searched for an answer to end Madoka’s wish. QB managed to scout a certain young girl who loves to become powerful and strong enough to defend herself from bullies, although the difference here is QB would ask that girl to make a fixed wish “making Madoka’s wish invalid” in exchange of becoming a Puella Magi which she wanted to be not knowing the consequence. To make up for her mistake she collaborated with a lot of Puella Magi with one goal to find another Puella Magi like Madoka that would finally remove Qb’s existence in all world. 3-13-13
