Last Exile ~Ginyoku no Fam~ 02
Lolwhat? Those crescent moons in the sky are actually other Exiles?! Holy wow. What?!
Plus, Milliana Liliana is the current Alviss too. Or perhaps she can only control one of them.
Actually what Luscinia said this week is quite enlightening of the current situation in the world LE2 is set in. If, based on his history lesson, then it probably seems the original inhabitants of the world aren’t quite welcoming of the returners from Exile. And looking on the interesting resemblances plus all the hints in the OP, I extrapolate that prior to the end of the “Age of Calamity”, there were quite a number of Exiles that were built and each family of the leading nations perhaps had a member that became genetic-linked control devices for each ship. That would be an interesting proposition if true, which would explain the number of other interesting characters in the OP plus on the official site so far.
Ah well, that’s just a silly conjecture based on the OP and Luscinia’s words at this point. We’ll see how it plays out next week. They really pulled out a lot of the big guns this week though. I liked part where Fam rushed in to the Impetuous via the rotary propellers. Hope we’ll see more of that later.

Looks like the Bitching arc should be done next week. And then I wonder what’s the next Cursed Tool to join the show. I noticed Chiwa Saitou is part of the cast listing on ANN.

Dammit, they used up the entire episode for flashbacks. Well I can’t deny I needed a little refresher, but right in the third episode of the series? Oh well…
Anyways, looking forward to the confrontation between Yuuji and Shana next week.
Fate／Zero 04
Oh wow, that some epic fighting there. Sure, half of it was spent talking but when they did exchange blows, it was pretty amazing. Hard to imagine this is actually a TV anime and not a theatrical movie. I just hope this quality level keeps up for the rest of the cour. Guess now that one cour break they’re taking is quite justified if they want to continue delivering quality of this level to the fans. Better start saving up $600 for the BD-Box to answer that passion!
While almost entirely taken up by Saber vs Lancer, Iskandar sure knows how to steal the show when he feels like it.

Finally, Momoka gets introduced! Didn’t expect her to be voiced by Aki Toyosaki though.
So it turns out that Momoka’s diary has a spell to switch fates although at the price of physical injury to the caster. Apparently that’s the Penguindrum. I guess if its that powerful, it’s not surprising everyone and their mom is looking for it.
Still, more and more questions just keep popping up in my head the more they explain/reveal things about the show. I certainly wonder what’s all this going to build up to…
Also, that showdown between Yuri and Masako was awesome while it lasted.
