Shinryaku! Ika Musume II 04

Shinryaku! Ika Musume II

Oh god Mini Ika Musume is back. All my HNNNNNNNNNGH-

Shinryaku! Ika Musume II

Lol Ika Musume learning English. Too bad the rest of the segment was horrible misunderstandings by Cindy over Eiko’s attempts on English. Herp derp.

Tickling chapter also got animated too. One learns never ever to try and tickle Chizuru…

Sanae….. that position…. Really?!

Shinryaku! Ika Musume II

Although, Chizuru is probably the best cure for hiccups around.

Well, this was a pretty good episode of Ika Musume all round, disregarding the horrible English pun segment attempt at the beginning. The Mini Ika Musume segment was very welcome, even if it didn’t have the impact of the original episode. I wished they would do another one for this season and I guess we’ve got it now. Tickling chapter was awesome too, just for seeing angry Chizuru twice in a row.

Now all we need is the return of the mini-Poplars!

    It seems this episode was quite well received by the Japanese as well, meaning also the A part.

    I for one liked the english part since you don’t hear japanese seiyuu speaking real english very often. Even katakana-english is quite rare. Also I’m wondering why they needed an extra seiyuu for Cindy’s english parts?!?

    My conjecture is they, the studio hired a speech therapist/Gajin english teacher in Japan to teach the phonetics necessary for the v.a to pronounced the engrish in this segment of the script. and seeing as how Cindy is an American they decided that she(the teacher) might as well voiced English Cindy as well for “authenticity” sake.

    When it changed into mini ika musume, I was like LE GASP. SCREENSHOT. EVERYTHING. asdasdfds so kewt my lord ;A; In the OP as well when they appear, they seriously need mass produce them. Or even an army like Poplars.

    lolol English segment was fun, but yeah another voice for English Cindy was a bit weird, couldn’t help but think: That’s not Nabatame Hitomi ;A;….. lolzy minsunderstandings, poor Eiko. I do enjoy hearing seiyuus speak english, it’s like then I could interact with them!

    Tickling segment was heaps of fun xD lolol Chizuru ftw.
    Ika Musume on break for a week (and again later), saddddd ;_;

    Although whoever they hired for Cindy was a bad actress, it was still nice hearing English in an anime that doesn’t sound like a rock tumbler.
