Ro-Kyu-Bu! 12

Ro-Kyu-Bu!

Subaru, enjoying the fruits of his labour. Dohohohohohohohohoho.

Wow, they actually ended the show with a decent showing of basketball. Hinata was pretty damn impressive with some of her moves in this episode, while Momoka vs Miu was fun to watch. Some of the shots were actually quite impressively animated… which makes the shitty art at the post-match epilogue a little regretful, but oh well we can wait for the Blu-Ray for that.

Well, despite everything, Ro-Kyu-Bu! turned out to be a pretty entertaining show as far its concept can go, and it didn’t try to be all creepy loli fanservice stuff. There was some genuine character development and even the basketball parts were quite noticeably good and showed where the budget went to.

Of course, it’s not really a show that’s recommendable for others, but hey it was as good as a show as it could be within the confines of its concept. I’d like to think that even normal, non-lolicon anime watchers can actually watch this show, but I guess the fanservice does get extremely cringe-worthy at times. Oh well.

Going to miss the weekly Hinata’s “ooh!” though. God damn it Ogura Yui y u make so moe sound?!

I was indeed pleasantly surprised by the show.

The art in general in the second half of the series got pretty bad, but I still enjoyed it.

Hina was indeed adorable, and Airi was love.

Wtf?! Where did that come from?
Big imagination you have there dear sir.

Anyways yeah it was a pleasant trip watching this show. The best part is there’s very little (if any) in-your-face loli fanservice.

the ending is so so, is this some kinda trend in anime sport type , where the last episode the main team ( main character) always lost in the final match ? this is kinda sick , same as ending slam dunk, dear boys, hajime no ippo and so on for sport type anime, except prince of tennis. can they make the team win after all the suspend and excitement of the game….instead of losing then depress and continue on improving themselves blah ~ blah

I need a laptop, don’t have anywhere to watch this privately so I’m stuck on ep 2.

I can’t stop thinking about Hina’s muffled おs as she gives me a BJ, and now that it’s over I have nothing to live for.
