Gintama 226

Gintama

God damn it, I always get a rush whenever Gin-chan goes in to his badass mode. Wish the pajama joke went further though, lol.

And thus ends the “Prison Break” arc. Short, but still touching as usual. It’s weird how I can pretty much predict how everything goes in arcs like this and yet I still manage to get all teary-eyed at the final conclusion. Guess it’s just that good.

Next week is the Sket Dance x Gintama cross over arc… god damn, do I have to get the Sket Dance episode as well?!

About the SketxGintama episode… Let’s see… If you don’t read/watch Sket Dance, you really gotta watch the very first episode of Sket Dance, because they bring it up a lot.

…unless they show the Gintama version first, in which case it doesn’t really matter.

To be honest, even though I’m watching Sket Dance, I don’t like it all that much. I heard the manga is better, but the anime clearly doesn’t hold a candle to Gintama.

Having said that, I’m afraid their version of the crossover was waay more interesting to read. To the point that Gintama’s version looked lazy in comparison. I’m seriously looking forward to it.

i really laugh myself out when infiltrated warden room pajamas (look like western prison cloth). what interesting is even the pajamas itself can be hostage. lol!!!

I think with regards to the crossover it helps a lot that Shinohara was an assistant to Sorachi. He gets the art and feel of both series down while Sorachi doesn’t quite manage either….

Also, I would say that the Sket Dance manga is better on a week to week basis than Gintama is. The anime is not nearly as good however…
