The Idolmaster

Man, we didn’t get a purely Takane episode did we? Oh well :(

Going in to the final legs, the 765 Pro idols (minus Ryuuguu Komachi) get to do a live performance and they put all their best in to it. It was also half a Haruka episode (surprising considering she’s supposed to be the flagship idol of the series) where thanks to her optimism, she manages to get everyone working their best. There was also a little extension of the character development between her and Chihaya from the earlier cooking battle episode.

Looks like Miki drama will constitute the final episode. Producer-san, you big liar!

Idolm@ster is 25 episodes long; a Takane episode is certainly coming.

My sources still say 12. Pretty sure this is ending next week, what with the arc and all in place.

You almost scared me saying it was only 12 eps D=

It’s 25 episodes long. It says so in the BD/DVD listing in the official site:

Surely there’d be a season 2? Either they’re skipping a cour until the 2012 winter or we’ll see next week that they’ll net the schedule for the next episodes.

Otherwise, odd that the final episode has Miki as a focus instead of the flagship girl Haruka.

Ok, looking at the BD episodes listing (which only go up to Vol. 3 so far), there is a chance it is going to be 2 cours since it’s following the 2/3 episode per disc format.
Weird, since Syoboi’s listings only go up to 12.

Still not sure if it will be continuing another cour or they are just structuring the blu-rays that way to dump in original episodes or something.
    Oops I missed the “全9巻毎月リリース予定” line. I guess it might be 25/26 after all (1(2) + 8(3))…

    We’ll see after next week.

Miki’s just a spoilt brat, sheesh.

    >expecting to get into RK just because she put in a bit of work

Also, you can tell when her heart breaks in that scene.

Episode 13 is already confirmed to be airing right after next week; they released staff-listing for it in Megami and everything:

@Someone: even if she acts selfish most of the time, I had to feel for her in that scene. She really was trying to be better and all..

@Nope: I guess Syoboi needs to update itself.

Clearly Producer-san’s fault for keeping Miki’s hopes up. They seem to have been exchanging emails (possibly about the Ryuuguu Komachi topic) based on that “Re:Re: Really?” subject line.

Ryuugu Komachi getting destroyed by the Backstreet Boys still need to happen, so don’t’ worry.

Miki kinda reminds me of Yasuri Nanami.

“Forgive me, Nanami.I really wanted to have you succeed me as the head of Kyotouryuu, but that is not possible. Understand that the impossible is impossible. Not because you are a woman, or because of your weak body, Nanami. But because I am unable to raise someone as exceptionally powerul as you.” – 6th Kyotouryuu Head

Kurogane, the show has been known to have been two cour before it even aired.
