Negima! 337

Negima!

… what?!

Negima!

Negima!

Negima!

Negima!

I don’t even know anymore….. (ಠ_ಠ)

Oooooookay… this was quite the filler chapter. At least we get more hints about Negi’s plan, which looks set to be a very long-term sort of thing. Well I guess that’s expected, since he’s aiming to build space elevators and stuff. Not sure how he’s going to give corporeal forms to the non-humans of Mundus Magicus though…

This week is actually break week, but since RH took their time, next chapter will be next week. I just hope it doesn’t be this…. awkward again.

What do you mean, what? Haven’t you ever walked in on a robot girl masturbating before?

Ken Akamatsu! The only man that acknowledges that even robots need their GOOD PRIVATE PERSONAL SEXUAL HAPPY TIIIME!

Given how great Negi’s mana felt, I agree with Eva’s evaluation that the cheap stuff is pretty damn sad to use.

As much as I would normally hate filler-ish chapters, I actually miss stuff like this.

Long-term huh… maybe he’s trying to terraform Mars? Well that still doesn’t solve the problem of the magical beings though. Guess we’ll just wait and see.

Eva’s just going to pretend she didn’t see anything. Yue needs to get her memories back before she confesses to Negi. It will be really awkward if she confesses to him and has no clue to why she likes him.

Well, Negi did say that his plan would take 10 years. So yeah, long-term.

Haha, what a very suggestive page that was in the beginning…

    – Evangeline walking in on Chachamaru resupplying mana to herself while whispering Negi’s voice

Since Chachamaru’s pretty much a daughter of sorts to Eva, wouldn’t that be almost similar to a parent catching his/her daughter schlicking?

Not that I mind or anything.

So far in two chapters Akamatsu seems to be making some of his old elements a lot less subtle. First with have Fate in the last chapter going from “former enemy with a bit of foe yay built up between them” for Negi to”openly claiming Negi and actually telling off the girls”. Even though i fully believe that Fate didnt mean it that way and was just failing at social communication, it still strange that Akamatsu basically publicized fate as a possible gay option for Negi.

Then with this chapter we have Chachamarus “wind up” sessions, which have always been suggestive, but this one felt a bit too obvious to me. Maybe that’s just me, but it seems like Kurogane also felt awkward with this chapter so i think some people feel the same thing i do here. All in all i find myself wondering what else Akamatsu can drop the subtlety from next. Maybe have Setsuna and Konoka casually making out in public or something.

Can’t say I mind the lack of subtlety in Chachamaru’s case.

And I totally approve of building space elevators, possibly space habitats… and building a future where all people can become friends, hold hands and live eternally.
