Sacred Seven 11

Sacred Seven

The amount of “WHAAAAAT?” in this episode is overwhelming.

So… Kenmi makes up accusations of tax evasion by Ruri, arrests her and tries to cut her heart out… all in the name of him becoming some Aztec god? Seriously? That’s his entire motive? I was so headdesking when the shit about the Aztecs came up. I headdesk’ed even harder when he suddenly decides to ignore Ruri and grab Fei’s brother’s heart instead of Ruri’s to become god. I mean, what? If he could have used that one, why did he had to go all the way to kidnap Ruri and shit and then totally ignore her and Arma? So much what in this episode. So much what…

But oh well, at least the maid squad kicked ass this week. They were sooooo horribly underutilized, despite their sheer entertainment value.

Sacred Seven

Still, can’t deny S7 is a horrible trainwreck from start to finish. Sunrise, I expected better than this crap from you.

A few times I had to face palm. At least Tiger and Bunny is doing well for Sunrise.

I was kind of wondering if I missed an episode somewhere. The sudden arrest of Ruri really came out of nowhere. I’m still not really clear as to why Kenmi had Arma’s pendant, or why he’d leave it in a random storage room, either…

Shin Yoshida + Sunrise = Trainwreck

And THIS was the show that Sunrise poured money into, rather than the second half of Tiger and Bunny (which while having its share of mis-steps in the 2nd half, is still much more fun)? What were they smoking?!

It’s like Sunrise decided to throw excess money into a pathetic show like this. Spend it at least on T&B man, that deserves more attention.
Horrible trainwreck indeed and I had nfi what was going on for most of the series except Stones and well…. Stones. At least gg subs made it more entertaining.
Also one day while flicking through a seiyuu mag, they had a giant spread and interview or something about ALL the meidos from the squad and their respective voices. I was like facedesk; no one is going to remember this show or these people and care.

    – expecting a Sunrise show to be non-trainwreck

Well, I guess T&B is the exception to the “rule”. Too many plotholes and/or deus ex machina to take note of… but at least I had fun watching.

That plus they could always make another season for S7. There’s no way they can make a definite ending to this.

Aztecs… How did Kenmi mentioned that?!

    I feel disbelief on Sunrise!
