Steins;Gate 18

Steins;Gate

I wish I was the one who was going to forget about today.

Dear god, Ruka is such a boring character. This episode could’ve been replaced with a skit of Hashida drooling at maids at May Queen and I would’ve found it better than this boredom. Aside from being the keeper of the IBN 5100, Ruka doesn’t contribute a single thing to the entire story.

The only thing that got me through this episode was sheer willpower and seeing Kurisu’s banter with Okabe about going on dates and stuff. Still, even that got a bit lame after a while. At least there’s only one more D-Mail to undo now.

It wasn’t that bad of an episode. At least it endears Rukako to the viewers a bit by showing just how sad her situation she’s in. Gay love is probably very difficult for both parties anyways. :P

Ah, now for the hard part: Moeka.

Also, time is running out for Steins;Gate. 18 episodes, and NO Timeline Beta yet.

The only thing that got me through this episode is my continuous thinking of
“So is Ruka currently a trap, or a girl and a yaoi or a normal relationship?”
And that one line from Makise “I’m a …..”

Tbh, this episode is the most relaxing one of the whole series…a date and no time travelling jelly?

Yeah it’s refreshing to watch an episode without any heavy time travel theories.
This episode was the counterpart to the famous beach-episodes full of fanservice and as far as this series doesnt rely of that, they had to show some kurisu-blushing and a carefree story – personally I would watch any episode no matter how lame it is just to see kurisu’s reactions :3

Ah, I’m not quite so irritated here, even though generally I fully agree with you: Rukako is a snooze. Still, Kurisu-TINA saved the day for me, her jealous outbursts were the main attraction ^_^

It’s too late for it to happen but I still wish he would aim for World Line -0.23548, He only meats Feris and meets none of the others and hooks up with her. Here’s hoping for an Omega World Line OVA

Rintarou should’ve just kept on going back in time using the memory machine, and eventually penetrate enough of the Russian and Japanese underground mafia, the FBI/CIA/ABC/DEF/GHI/etc., and the federal government of every country on Earth to completely destroy SERN’s evil plans.

But of course that would be a lot more boring + he would probably bonk out from mental collapse at the end.
