Gintama 217

Gintama’s idea of a fanservice episode sure is weird…

Oh god, any episode with the shogun appearing immediately becomes epic-disgusting for all the wrong reasons. Seriously, going from a pool episode to a shogun episode… thank god they don’t pull this shit off often. Norio Wakamoto’s character should’ve stuck around a bit more though.

Still it’s good to see the shogun back. He’s probably one of the best recurring cameo characters of the Gintama roster.

P.S. Bonus mizugi shot for the win~

the last mizugi picture says it all. “They don’t give a damn about you” (about your tastes in types of fanservice, to be exact)

You decide to skip Gintama 215 which is actually a good episode, then you decide to blog this episode. The world draws to an end indeed.

Fear not, there will be copious amounts of Shinsengumi Director Matsudaira in due time.

Though the way they are mixing the order like this makes it difficult to tell exactly when…

@pedobearmatt: You and I have vastly differing expectations of Gintama. I honestly watch the show for the comedy more than the action arcs. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have lasted watching this so long.

I LOLed so fucking hard about 15 minutes near the end. One of the funniest episodes this season (on the contrary with ep 216 IMO). Actually I’m kind of disappointed with the arc. It was too short and wasn’t as deep as any other arcs before (maybe due to the shortness). The fighting scenes were awesome though.

Yeah the Kabuki-cho arc was surprisingly short and the story was pretty cliché too. Still, they sure went all out on the fighting scenes for it. Made even better because it’s in 16:9 too!

I’m a happy person once Tsukuyo appears in a swimsuit, the rest is just bonus. :3

Gintama doesn’t have fan service, what’re you talking about? It only has comedy service. You can order your copy now as well, for $99.99, rofl. ;)

The Shogun, by the way, is an awesome minor character. I nearly died from laughter (figuratively, of course) when I saw this episode.

Oh, and the mizugi shot said it all. They don’t give a damn! (Neither do I, as long as they keep bringing the comedy service! Or in Japanese, yumoa service. (humor service… yes, I am serious)
