Ro-Kyu-Bu 02

Ro-Kyu-Bu

It’s only the second episode and Subaru’s already GET the first girl of the team. Sasuga rorikon coach ヽ( >∀<)ノ AHAHA AHAHA AHAHAHAHA! Ok, on a more serious note, Ro-Kyu-Bu's story is a lot more solidly constructed than I expected. I'm a little surprised to the revelation that Momoka was previously an intense enough person about winning that she managed to alienate her team mates and peers. Wouldn't have guessed it from my first impression of her. Anyways, the reason for the match between the girl and boy basketball clubs is out in the open, so now it's up to Subaru to see if the can pull a miracle out of that team. He's probably gonna have a hard time whipping Hinata and Airi in shape.... well, good luck! P.S. Man, I'm glad they toned down that fanservice level from last week. It would've made me a lot more uncomfortable to admit I enjoy the show for other reasons than that...

Yeah, this episode helped out with the development and the tone down of the fan-service makes it a little more watchable show.

Given how this guy is already associated with the “lolicon club” you would think he would be a bit more careful with running around town holding onto an elementary school student…

Solid story? Why would they agree to bet the existence of the club on the outcome of the match they have almost no chances of winning? As long as they have members who show up for the training, there’s no way the club is going to be disbanded no matter how much other clubs’ advisers bitch. It’s a school extracurricular activity, they don’t even have to be serious about how they do it, and if the boys want to play more, they are welcome to do it outside of the school. Not to mention that the parents of at least some of the girls seem to be fairly rich, so the school administration won’t want to piss them off.

That’s like asking why do the different factions in the Gundam series fight each other when it’s much better to co-exist and pool their resources together to develop mechs. Answer? There’s no story if they don’t war. Same thing here.
