LOL STUPID FATHER PUNCH. FUCK YEAH NAGI!
That has gotta hurt. And reflux of Kosmo Entelechia? That’s… interesting.
Whoa, even Rakan too! He sure has a gift of making Fate/Tertium mad.
And…. we’re back to reality?
Oh Negi, you.
Did Fate just imply that Negi used Asuna’s magic cancel to allow them to survive relatively unscathed? Can’t explain otherwise how neither of them are melted to atoms now after that zero-range, front on collision of two High Ancient magic spells.
Haha, dammit, their banter is awesome even at times like this.
Whoa… Fate finally admits his defeat? But it seems that that’s not just it…
Well, that was certainly one interesting chapter there. Having Nagi and Rakan suddenly appear out of nowhere and ‘interfere’ with Negi vs Fate was pretty surprising. When I first saw the raws I actually thought the Negi=Nagi theory was proven true when Nagi popped up. Gave me one hell of a shock lol. Luckily Rakan appearing after Nagi disproved it and now the translation too.
Nagi and Rakan’s appearance is probably a feedback sort of phantasmagoria illusion created by Negi. Since Negi managed to tapped in to Fate’s memories, I assume he managed to use that connection to Fate’s mental world to create the appearances. I’m not too exactly sure how it works, hopefully Akamatsu will explain in the tankoubon omakes.
The other interesting thing to note was how Fate hinted on Negi managed to channel Asuna’s magic cancel some how, probably allowing the both of them to survive that “handshake”. That one page flashing to Asuna was hinted pretty heavily didn’t it?
Well, now that Fate vs Negi battle is over, will we finally get to hear what’s Negi’s plan? Will Asuna be saved yet? And has the Lifemaker finally arrived on the scene since Fate’s admitted his defeat already? Argh, the wait for 329 continues.
