Mayushii says the darnedest things.
Glad to see that the Konata Doctrine has survived the erasure of Akiba as the Mecca of Moe in this timeline.
Slowing down the pace a bit, this week focuses on Suzuha and Okarin’s reaction towards the changed world. Gotta love Okarin’s “All the moe is gone from Akiba?!” line in the beginning of the episode. Also, Ruka is a girl now :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD! God that scene where Okarin molests Ruka to check… he’s lucky Kurisu didn’t
throw report him at the nearest police box.
Suzuha’s story is that she’s looking for her father that will be popping up at a specific place… which turns out to be an offline meeting of time travel maniacs that Daru was supposed to attend but got suckered out of it by Okarin. Interestingly, Suzuha’s father also failed to turn up. Is that hinting that she’s actually Daru’s daughter?! FFFFFFFFU––
On Okarin’s side, there was also quite a bit of development between him, Mayushii and Kurisu. Seriously, it feels like with every D-mail successfully sent, Okarin and Kurisu get closer and closer isn’t it? I liked the blackout scene in this episode quite a bit… but oh dear god I don’t want to know how Kurisu makes her apple pies. Not one to lose, Mayushii also revealed an interesting tidbit about Okarin’s childhood where he experienced a high fever that seemed to have given him his “Reading Steiner” ability. Feels like a giant hint there.
