The World God Only Knows II 08

The World God Only Knows II

Filler chapter episode time!

Well, they covered two of the fillers this time. The first was pretty boring except for the Elsie parts, but thankfully the second one is the Haqua report-writing chapter. That made the episode worth sitting through, especially getting to hear this line…

The World God Only Knows II

Poor Keima-papa.

Nagase arc starting next week it seems, but god damn the cocktease of Tenri/Diana at the ending card of this episode. IT’S NOT LIKE YOU WILL BE MAKING A THIRD OR FOURTH OR FIFTH SEASON OF TWGOK, MANGLOBE.

Man, how I wish the first Yui arc would be animated. I’m not even asking for the current Goddess Hunt arc!

Don’t forget about Tsukiyo, Kuro, who was part of the PVs released prior to this season, but probably had to be dropped due to lack of episodes.

The Diana/Tenri image and the lack of a third season onwards made me cry. T^T

It’s not official that TWGOK 2 has only 12-13 episodes, right?
    26 Episodes are theoretically possible.

I heard somewhere that this was actually in the manga, before the Chihiro arc, or am I wrong? Anyways, anime based off of manga don’t tend to go beyond 2 seasons for whatever reason, they just don’t. Which is such a shame because I love this anime to bits.

Yes, it was. It was also spliced out a little with some lines from Haqua being passed on to Elsie at the beginning of the Chihiro arc.

the reason the manga anime usually only get two seasons is because the anime catches up to the manga. case in point is HxH. but im pretty sure twgok has enough of a head start for maybe two more seasons if you include the goddes arcs

TWGOK has enough material for another 3 seasons probably. The question is if it’s popular enough in sales to get additional seasons.

@Alcren: Don’t forget Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X. Case in point: After the Makoto Shishio arc, the anime went downhill. :(

I sure hope TWGOK won’t suffer the same fate. Yeah, the manga was waaaay ahead than the anime. I think that’s the reason there’s a gap between each season.

Can we get more of Mari Katsuragi? I always enjoy her over the top reactions, hopefully we might get the filler where Keima and his mom go shopping.

Man Haqua, Haqua, Haqua, HAQUA OVER LOAD THIS WEEK. HNNNNNGG

@Ronin AnimeLover If they just waited til the Rurouni manga was far enough instead of making those crappy fillers.

Keep your hopes up guys. Most likely Manglobe will animate a few more seasons(unless they announced that they don’t). They are following the manga to the core including the fillers like the ones above. If they are not planning to animate a few more, they probably will skip the filler and go onto the main story. Also, judging from the previews for Season 2, it will most likely be 24 episodes long(Well looking at the fact that they are going for Luna’s Arc)
